Fit the original Elite controller, pretty much just like new. Honestly, just the fact that I was able to get replacements, and they actually fit and function the same is marvelous. The gaps on the bumpers are not 100% the same, but it's really impossible to tell the difference unless someone holds them together and points out which one is from Microsoft From what I can tell, it looks like the exact spot the my bumpers failed is a bit thicker on these pieces. In the end it just means a bit more plastic, but I'm hoping that the extra plastic will help the bumpers from failing any time soon. At the very least, you do get two replacements in the package. All the tools helped dearly. If I could complain, I'd admit that the TORX screwdrivers are made with some soft metal (shavings coming off of them) so they'll lose their threads pretty quickly. BUT they should be good for two replacements worth, so not really concerned at all. This kit is a tad expensive, but it's self contained. You have everything you need here, and the replacements are quality.

With some surgery, some YouTube, some finesse, and some pain.... these absolutely saved my xbox one controllers.. had to replace the stock bumpers because apparently I was rough using them lol. Not a single issue since replacement on any of them. 10/10 would recommend.

Got this kit to replace a broken LB on my out-of-warranty Series 1 elite controller. The Good- This kit comes with everything you need. The bumpers, the center plate, the screwdriver, the prying tool, and the scraping tool to remove the serial # sticker (necessary to unscrew the controller). I found a youtube video demonstrating the process, and I was able to follow it successfully. My bumpers are replaced and they work. I will also say the look and feel are very similar. No one will be able to tell that the bumpers and plate aren't the original. The bad- Getting the bumpers and plate to snap on was very challenging. The only way I was able to get it to work was by using the scraping tool to carefully separate the bumpers from the plate, snap the bumpers into place first, then slide the cover over it after. The video I found had the person install the whole thing in one piece, but that did not work for me. The torx screwdriver isn't super durable, so apply pressure gently. Mine shows signs of stripping already. It looks like it's just good enough to get through the job of taking the controller and apart a few times. Also this isn't a critique on the product but moreso on the controller... When you first get the faceplate off pay attention to how the 1-2 slider and the green pairing button are installed. They easily can fall out and are not reinstalled in an obvious way. Bottom line- This kit was as advertised. Replacement bumpers and all the tools needed to do the job. Installation proces was simple, though not exactly easy. My bumpers are fixed and my controller looks and feels like new.

Overall, I'm happy I have a working bumper. I think this part of the controller is really thin and flimsy by design so I'm not sure much else could be done to improve it. Maybe metal instead of plastic? There are no instructions but with a video on YouTube was able to install fairly easily. Kindof tricky so be ready to keep track of a few screws. The color doesn't match the triggers which I don't care much about but someone might. All in all, it's a perfect 20$ option over replacing an entire controller for 150-200$

I broke the RB on my model 1697 Xbox One controller. I purchased this kit as it had everything needed. The spudger (the little plastic pry tool) is very soft (a feature, not a bug) so two of them should really be included since there's two replacement bumper sets. They're meant to be single use, because they get chewed up pretty good. The alternative is chewing up the controller body. So that's my only real gripe, and it's minor. The install itself was easy with the help of a few YouTube videos. It was only a bit fiddly getting the bumper slot correctly positioned on the controller. On my first try, I didn't have it quite right and I knew it because pressing the bumper would activate the trigger. After a bit, I figured out where it needed to go and it popped right on. After that, reassembly went quickly & the result is functionally identical to the original, and aesthetically it's an improvement. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.

The first order arrived "destroyed". There was no box or plastic shell protection and the parts were in a Ziploc back inside a bubble wrap shipping envelope. It arrived a day later than Amazon stated and when opened, both sets of buttons were broken into multiple pieces - almost like the envelope had been stepped on or run over. I ordered a replacement set (Amazon was quick to do so and no issues with the return). These arrived in the same packaging, but fortunately not broken. However, when installing them I had a hard time getting the buttons to clip into place in a way that didn't seem to bind and interfere with the trigger - especially the left-hand. Spent nearly 20 minutes on the first one (after the controller was opened) and the first set broke before I could get it installed correctly. It took about 12 minutes more but I finally got the second set installed and was able to close the controller and test it. It just didn't seem to be as free clicking as the original and I unassembled and reinstalled a couple of times, with no improvement. Took a lot of pressure to get it to click in place over the "home" button. Then, unfortunately, the second set broke after less than 8 hours of use. I was nearly ready to just buy a replacement controller but decided to try the SOSS product (2 sets of buttons, tools) which was just a few dollars more. Arrived just as quickly and was pleased to find that both sets of buttons were well protected in a retail box + plastic shielding to protect them from crushing/breakage. Same tools were included (though admittedly a little smaller and not as great for my large hands). Followed the same installation process and the buttons clicked in place like a glove! No binding, free clicking and no pressure required to get it aligned, clicked in place and the controller reassembled. The version sold by SOSS seems to be a much better product and worth the extra few bucks. Not sure why the reviews are so high on this one unless maybe they were initially good but are now running out (selling the lower quality ones) or the latter production batches are not as good, cheap junk. Anyway - that's my experience and recommendation.

I purchased this because my right bumper had a physical break, the plastic piece below the bumper cracked. The bumpers in the kit are just fine, but the center piece is not. I replace the bumpers and center pieces, and my left bumper didn't quite work afterwards. The center pieces, both of them in the kit, seem to lean to the left which makes the left bumper intermittently work. I still had the original center piece, which wasn't broken, and once I put that on everything worked just fine. This implies, to me anyways, that center pieces with the kit are just a hair off on the left-hand side. If it was just one of the two center pieces then I wouldn't be giving a two-star review, but it was both.

Like many others have experienced, one of the bumper buttons on my Xbox Elite controller broke. It's super frustrating to have a controller that expensive break. I figured if I wasn't going to use a broken controller any more, I may as well see if I could fix it (I'd only be out the cost of this kit). I'm really glad I did. The kit doesn't exactly provide instructions on how to replace the bumper, but there are plenty of walkthroughs on youtube and while some parts are a little frustrating, the process is pretty quick (less than an hour) and now my controller is working again. Would highly recommend this product to anyone who experiences the same "broken bumper" issue.

There are no instructions. So you need to view videos online beforehand. One tip in trying to place the new bumper is to position the bumper one side at a time. The front cover should be resting on the Xbox button it should not be through the front cover yet just depressed so that you can position the bumper. Check that the horizontal bar is pressing the bumper button. Before pressing in the front cover you'll be able to press the button to see that it clicks. The video I found online was difficult to see this part.

Poor tolerance and causes sticking. Not within tolerance and plastic is cheaper than the original. Save your money

I did not read the features in depth. These are just the plastic components and not the micro switches that are usually the issue if the LB/RB buttons are not working.

The color did not match the original parts but that's not a big deal, what is a big deal is that the fit of the parts is a bit off so one of the two bumpers wouldn't even work and the other one had to be used with the original retaining clip from the elite controller to not get stuck when pressed down.
