Once i had fitted and placed the shelf up, i decided to test the strength of my bracket - so i sat on the shelf (all 13 ¹/² stone of me) to make sure it could safely house my av equipment. The bracket has a slight wobble - but as my shelf has no moving parts , it will hold my gear up no problem.
