## Description

Product Description Home Master HydroPerfection Undersink Reverse Osmosis System delivers exceptional water purity while also adding beneficial minerals that produce clean, great-tasting Mineral Water on Tap. The included permeate pump will reduce water waste by up to 80 percent while increasing water production by up to 50 percent. Home Master's innovative design eliminates the most common problems found in traditional RO systems -- canister filter housing leaks, slow flow rate, high water waste, service challenges, and slightly acidic water. What makes Home Master HydroPerfection a smarter choice? Clean, great-tasting water; a modular filter design; the power of UV light; easy-to-change filters; faster flow rate; and better water efficiency. Home Master HydroPerfection uses its nine stages of filtration, purification, sterilization, and enhancement to produce exceptionally clean water. It uses its sediment, iron, catalytic carbon and reverse osmosis purification process to remove up to 98 percent of iron, hydrogen sulfide, chloramines, chlorine, chemicals, dissolved solids, metals, and other harmful contaminates from the water. Also, the type of dissolved iron commonly found in well water will destroy the reverse osmosis membrane without the IRON filter protecting it. The Home Master's superior pre-iron filter, which contains an advanced redox media KDF85, removes dissolved iron from the water. Additionally, the mixed media prefilter uses powerful catalytic carbon to remove chemicals like chloramines, herbicides and pesticides. The advanced ultraviolet light sterilization chamber is always on guard and safely destroys 99.9 percent of germs, viruses, and bacteria. This results in exceptionally pure, great tasting water. This package contains an assembled purification unit that includes RO membrane and filters, storage tank, 3/8-inch feed-water adapter with shut off, chrome RO faucet, RO adapter, 110v power supply, drain saddle, and instructions. Review: Awesome RO filter, highly recommend - This is a great system. I don't test the water anymore but I used to have a device that would test and it definitely filters the water well. Water always tastes clean and clear. It has never given us issues and we've had our system for several years. Even bought one for our contractor as a gift so his family can have clean water whenever they want. We change the filters every year as they instruct and after several years you change out the lines. We are not handy people and yet it was relatively easy to set up. We did have to drill into a pipe where the waste drains. If you'd rather not set it up, ask a local handyman you trust. But it was easy. When the set up process is done correctly, the water pressure is great and fills a bottle very quickly. If the pressure goes down, you just have to tend to it and we just watch a youtube video. Only one year we had to repressurize before the filters were due but I think we didn't quite follow the setup instructions when the filters were replaced. Takes up a lot of space under the sink because it is very complete with multiple filters and a large storing tank, but you still should have plenty of room for your kitchen cleaning supplies. Highly recommend.
Review: Home Master TMHP-L Hydroperfection Loaded Undersink Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System - Usually I don’t post reviews on things I buy but I always read reviews when I am researching a product, and I think I need to post reviews to help others as others helped me doing this research on the home master and the other systems. I never liked bottled water. I used couple filtration systems, counter top like Brita and zero water and I am not saying they are bad (or any other system) but I got tired of buying filters every few weeks, and the cost after couple of years, and testing the water that the filter is still good, and especially for my coffee, tea, and drinking, water improved with the filters compared to faucet but I needed better. So a after a little over a year ago started wondering that I needed a better system and after a long research for better system and the reviews of other systems and on the Home Master TMHP system made my final purchase decision easy. Small system not the whole house, replace filters or membrane annually and one every two years and an ultra violet light, something I can install myself, and just for drinking and cooking, coffee and tea. It took me 3 hours to install. Right after installation I’m completely satisfied and thrilled with the performance of this system. Installation of the Home Master system was easy. If you’re somewhat handy, instructions and videos provide all I needed to complete the project. All connections are easy to use ‘push-to-connect’ fittings, the installation instructions reiterate often to insure you push the tubing firmly into the fittings and then pull the tubing to insure connection, connected to the fridge for the ice maker. Do it correctly there will be no leaks. Works perfectly, I can fill a large pot in 2 to 3 minutes, a large glass 3 or 4 seconds, simply excellent. I can tell you the water tastes amazing, my coffee and iced tea is coffee and tea with no after taste. I can say the Home Master system should be your choice. The ice in the water after melting leaves weird stuff or cloudiness. As I said, a major selling point was the fact that you only change the filters annually and other filters after two years. I have the system for 15 months now, and I bought the full replacement filters set any way instead of the annual set a couple weeks ago to replace. The complete full set was less than I spent on the counter top filters in six months that I used in the past. Maybe I will replace the filters this coming weekend, should be an easy work replacing them. Every so often I test the water using these pens for particles and stuff and it read nothing. I believe I made a great choice with this system. It’s a great investment for my home. Take care of yourself. I am happy with this filtering system and this company and their filter. Thanks a lot!!! If you are considering, don’t hesitate to review the different systems available and the one that fit your home needs and click that order button. For me it is the Home Master TMHP-L Hydroperfection Loaded Undersink Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do introducing minerals (calcium and magnesium) recreate the hard water that my water softener removed? does it cause scaling? what is the gpg level?**
A: This question is a barrel of snakes. I am going to try and straighten them out.The water softener, to which you are referring, is a whole house device. It uses an ion exchange process to remove calcium and magnesium minerals and introduces sodium or potassium salts in their place. The HydroPerfection is a drinking water system that uses reverse osmosis to remove salts, minerals and other dissolved solids."Hard water" is a specific term that refers to water with very high amounts of calcium and magnesium minerals >171 mg/L or 10 gpg, which at that level causes scaling and unsightly deposits. Water can be naturally soft when the same calcium and magnesium minerals are present at levels of <60mg/L where scaling and deposits are minimal or absent. What will happen if you install the HydroPerfection at your kitchen sink or bar, or basement below your kitchen sink and feed it water from your water softener? The HydroPerfection will remove the salt introduced by your softener and add 30-60 mg/L of calcium and magnesium from a fresh clean new source to effectively reproduce perfect natural Mineral Water on Tap®. I hope this helps. Please feel free to call us to discuss in more depth 877-693-7873 M-F 9am to 5pm MST.

**Q: So many buy these systems without the right information. Two important things to know is how much water is wasted, does it filter one micron or less?**
A: Good questions. This system will waste 1 gallon per 1 gallon purified when used as directed. You can find this information in the product description in the "RO System Chart". All of our RO system will filter down to 0.001 microns which is just slightly larger than the water molecule itself. In order for a system to be properly labeled "reverse osmosis" it must filter down to at least 0.002 microns to meet that definition.

**Q: What comes in the "Loaded Package" vs the "Standard" option?**
A: Loaded version adds Luxury Standard Brushed Nickel RO Faucet, Refrigerator Connection Kit, and Dow Filmtec 75 GPD high hardness RO membrane to the standard Home Master HydroPerfection Reverse Osmosis System.

**Q: Can I install this in the basement (below the kitchen)? Is there enough water pressure to travel 10 ft of elevation?**
A: I installed the unit in the basement, about 15' horizontally and 5' below the spigot. I built a small shelf just below the floor joists to hold the tank and filters. There is plenty of pressure to fill a 16 oz. glass in a few seconds. I got extra tubing for that distance from Home Master - excellent people to work with!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There is a reason they named their company 'The Perfect Water'... because it's what they do.
*by B***E on August 19, 2017*

After significant research in my quest for pure, safe water and clear ice, the data and reviews on the Home Master TMHP system made my final purchase decision easy. A month after installation I’m completely satisfied and thrilled with the performance of this system. I previously had an older GE system with the typical membrane and canister style filters. Every 6 months ‘painful’ filter changes and poor performance drove me to find a better solution. My first path was to go with a Pelican combination whole house filter and salt free water softener. My plumber and others said whole house filter was the way to go for pure water and clear ice, not so much. Even Pelican suggested RO was not needed with the whole house filter. While I’m pleased with the Pelican system, the water is indeed soft and clean throughout my home, my faucets don’t accumulate scale and no more itching skin from the massive amount of chlorine they put in the hard water here in Arizona. However, it is not the solution for pure drinking water and clear ice. Installation of the Home Master system was easy. If you’re somewhat handy, Perfect Water’s installation instructions and videos provide all you need to complete the project yourself. The color coded tubing takes the guesswork out of connecting the tubing in the system, genius when you compare that to other systems with all white tubing. All connections are easy to use ‘push-to-connect’ fittings, the installation instructions reiterate often to insure you push the tubing firmly into the fittings and then pull the tubing to insure connection. If you do this properly there will be no leaks. Performance, simply superb! When you consider my source (feed) water comes in at ~430 ppm and exits the Home Master system at ~25 ppm, the numbers don’t lie. However, check out my attached images and you will see that pictures tell the rest of the story. I can tell you the water tastes amazing, as well as my coffee and iced tea, however seeing the picture of the Home Master produced ice beside the pre-RO ice will also convince you why the Home Master system should be your choice. The facts on ‘clear ice’…. While my particular clear ice results are truly dramatic, you need to know that pure water alone does not produce truly clear ice. Cloudy ice results from 2 things, impure water and how the ice is produced. Typical icemakers in refrigerators produce ice by freezing the water from the outside, in. Through this process there will always be trapped gasses pushed to the center of the cube. For perfectly ‘clear’ ice you need pure water and a ‘clear’ ice maker. These machines freeze the water in layers freezing water from the inside, out. The result is perfectly clear, harder ice that lasts longer and makes your drinks taste amazing. These are the ice machines most restaurants use. I have one on my list, maybe one day, they are expensive. Another major selling point for me on the Home Master was the fact that you only change the filters annually and according to what I see in my system and what I’ve read, it will be easy. I also took maintenance of the system one step further by installing HM Digital’s TRM-1 Triple TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) monitor. Installation of the TRM-1 was easy, turn off the feed water supply valve and drain the storage tank to eliminate system pressure (I also unplugged the UV filter for safety). Buy a plastic tubing cutting tool (about $10.00) to insure straight tube edges for the fittings. Insert the probe tees inline where you desire to monitor TDS, it should be feed water (1/4” orange tube), post membrane (1/4” black tube) and final product water 3/8” blue tube). I also called Perfect Water and asked where I should connect the 3 monitors, their customer service department is awesome, told me how to do it and sent me a diagram. As always insure proper tubing connection in the fittings and turn your feed supply on to refill your tank and resume operation. By monitoring post membrane you can also calculate your membrane rejection rate, mine is currently operating at 97%, just as Perfect Water states in the product description (up to 98%). Online research says membranes should be replaced when rejection rate falls below 75% to 80%. This triple monitor tells me my TDS in the feed water, post membrane and post Artesian filter for the final product water. Just as the Perfect Water folks describe in FAQ’s, the post membrane water PPM in my system is about ~15 ppm and then post Artesian product water is ~25 ppm. They add minerals back to the water which results in higher ppm, however this also produces GREAT tasting water. Ideal drinking water falls in the 1-50 ppm range and is achieved from reverse osmosis, microfiltration, etc. While Perfect Water recommends annual filter changes the monitor also allows me to see when filter performance deteriorates, so maybe I change them sooner or maybe they last a little longer? Quick note on the HM Digital monitor; if you search it online you will find it comes with either 1/4” or 3/8” inline tees. The Home Master system has both 1/4” and 3/8” tubing so you will need to order the monitor with 2-1/4” tees and 1-3/8” tee. The probes that connect to the tees are all 1/4”. The fine folks at HM Digital solved that issue for me. So, what are you waiting for? Click that order button and you also will be writing a 5 star review on the amazing Home Master TMHP. Update 8-30-17: Six weeks after installation the system is humming along flawlessly producing amazing, great tasting water and ice. May I also compliment the support department at The Perfect Water. I called in and emailed with questions on my system performance and I was expertly guided through some troubleshooting which quickly resolved my initial concern. Not only does The Perfect Water manufacture superb RO systems, they back up this 5 star product with 6 star customer service! Many thanks to Will, Matthew and Tim, your professionalism and acute attention to superb customer service are a great credit to your product and your company!
