I purchased one of these side cutters. I worked so so for the first time I used it, and did not work ever again. It simply bunches the material and jams the machine. Spend the extra money and get yourself the proper side cutter for your machine. Once you have bought these cheap ones they are non-returnable and companies who sold them to you seem to disappear by saying out of stock. Do yourself a favor and save money and headache by buying a solid one the first time. The Singer brand side cutter available elsewhere is expensive but is solid and works, you will get what you pay for.
