How long is shelf life of one bucket?

Earthborn Elements Steel Cut Oats are best used within 2 year of purchase date

The description says this is steel cut, but the picture of the bucket indicates that it is uncut oat groats. It can't be both, so which is it?

Earthborn Elements Steel Cut Oats are not uncut oat groats. Thank you for bring this to our attention. We have uploaded the incorrect image.

Is the bucket opener go with the steel oats ? if not where can i buy a bucket opener ? it is not on the amazon

No bucket opener enclosed but there are weak spots on the lid if you look closely. I don’t know how much they will help as I didn’t look closely until after the lid was off
