I had an aluminum storm window that had fallen and was stuck tight in its aluminum track at the bottom. Everything we had tried to get it out had failed, and the window is on an upper story in a downtown area so it would be very expensive to get to from the outside. This tool was a godsend. It is heavy-duty, not like a snap-ring pliers with little pins. I was able to position it between the window and track and applied pressure to separate the two aluminum pieces, and they popped apart immediately. If anyone needs a tool that can fit in a tight, tiny space and exert quite a bit of spreading force, you've found it. Thank you for saving me a bunch of money!

These pliers worked perfectly removing and installing snap rings on my T90 transmission. These snap rings do not have the little extensions with the hole which most common snap ring pliers attach to, this tool spreads the snap ring where there's only a gap in the ring. These snap ring pliers was the only tool that worked for me.

What a tool. I wish I’d known these existed years ago. It removed blind circlips easily. I have struggled for years.

So far this works very well. I have been able to takeoff snap rings. I should say pretty hefty snap rings from a top load of gearbox but it would’ve been good to get the 11 inch plies for the big ones. the listing actually shows two sets as you scroll down so I wasn’t sure to be honest if you would get both sets, but as it works out, you want to get one
