Scanpan Classic 9-1/2-Inch Glass Lid, 9.5 inch, Clear

Fits perfectly and exact substitute for old originals. But try here are better with the steel rims as the old glass-only ones sometimes chipped on the edges.

Fits the pan perfectly! Easy to see through, no splattering while sauteeing. Dishwasher safe. A great addition to my kitchen. Seems very durable as have dropped on the counter and floor several times and no cracks or damage to the rim. This the only see-through pan lid I have and it's a great addition.

Fits my 12.5 inch Scanpan wok, used it for the first time with a frozen orange chicken meal. On the electric range I keep the burner on high, I get to about 300 degrees and add oil and chicken, takes about 10 minutes. I check the chicken with my instant read thermometer. Ready when I read over 165 degrees on the larger pieces.

Really happy with this. When I bought my Sensari pan set there was no lid for the small saucepan. As I do more small batches than large this became a problem. In checking the jungle store I found this one. Fits my pan well and is a sturdy lid. It already survived a dishwasher cycle so it passed the test.

This lid is listed as an accessory for the Scanpan Classic 9.5" fry pan, but I bought it to go with the 9.5" fry pan from the Scanpan Professional line and it fits perfectly. The glass is solid and Pyrex branded, with three slight bumps equidistant around the circumference of the rim, to keep the edge raised a bit, allowing steam to escape. Some assembly is required as the handle is a six-piece affair of plastic, silicone and stainless steel that takes two minutes or less to put together (the instructions are on the clear plastic bag the parts come in, so be careful when opening it). I ordered this from Amazon and felt lucky that it arrived intact... the packaging did not seem terribly secure for a breakable item like this. Before I opened it I was very worried it was broken, because the parts bag was rattling around inside and hitting the glass, making an unhappy sound. Thankfully the lid was unblemished. A bit on the pricey side, but exactly what I was looking for.

Eurocast makes a 12" skillet, but sells it without a lid. The only way you can get a lid for that skillet thru Eurocast is to buy their huge Wok that is around $250+ and comes with a lid that also fits their 12" skillet. After searching, measuring, and searching more, I thought I would try Scanpan Classic 12-1/2-Inch Glass Cover. It came today and FITS PERFECTLY!!! It is a very nice, well made, heavy glass lid and is exactly what I was wanting. If, you also, are a Eurocast purchaser and want a lid for your 12" skillet without purchasing a $250+ pan that you don't want or need - this is the perfect lid for you.

I broke my original lid so i was very happy to find that i could replace this item. I love this pot and I use it often, it is GREAT for sautéing vegetable and then combining all ingredients and cooking in the oven with the lid on! When cooking on top of the stove, the handles to the pot do not get hot so it is ok to pick up and move around. You can not do this if you place the pot in the oven, then mitts are required. My only regret, they don't make things the way they use to, the original cover was very thick glass, very sturdy and durable product. It is nice to go more light weight, I just miss the one that I had initially, again, they don't make things they way they use to............

Really like how this fits my scanpan and another open pan that's only marginally smaller than the scanpan lid. I have run it through the dishwasher several times and so far it hasn't collected moisture where the knob connects. I purchased some universal lids that were disappointing. They didn't create a seal and if I used the back burners on my freestanding range it would bump against the back of the range. This lid solves that space problem and makes a better seal. The only snag is the size of the knob, it gets caught in the space dividers of the lid holder I use if I don't take them out just so.

Ce couvercle est bien conçu. Le bouton ne chauffe pas, donc pratique. L eau ne s accumule pas sous le bouton, lors du lavage (j ai jette un que j avais a cause de ça) : entretien facile et le couvercle n est pas lourd. Il n y a pas de trou pour la vapeur sur le couvercle (pas important pour moi), le cercle en inox qui entoure le verre est de belle qualite avec une finition parfaite. Et le couvercle fait pile 28 cm.

Overall nice lid, but not very sturdy, it fell from 1m, and the handle fell off.

I have a bad habit of bouncing my glass Scanpan lids on my quarry tile kitchen floor and these replacement lids are great. Perfect fit and the same as the original.
