Great slider and an even better value!
The media could not be loaded. Great product and excellent customer service! Having never used a slider I didn't really know what to expect but I'm very impressed. The slider is very smooth as are the wheels. Here is a test I did at my friend's boutique, it was literally the first thing I did with the slider and it came out better than expected considering everything was done in one take and in a matter of 10 minutes total.

Simply Wow...
This is not cheap but the quality is excellent. I guess when you buy expensive items it translates quality but to some there aren't. There are expensive but the quality is cheap. If you are weighing in to buy this or comparing to something expensive and looks durable, this is one of them. However, you have to do a lot of caring to give you lasting benefits. I've been using this more often than my other sliders because of it's versatility and easy to carry. When you use this on contoured surfaces with wheels, make sure you don't drag too fast because you will definitely get a bad results. This needs patience and creativity and I learn it the hard way. Hope you like it as well as I do.

Not a bad little slider
I used the slider for a product video and attached it to my tri-pod and I was able to get smooth dolly shots with ease. I was using a Canon 5D MarkII. The construction is solid and the head mount plate is silky smooth. There weren't any instructions about how to attach the wheels to the bar so I'm not sure if I put the rubber washers in the right place. There is some limitation to the amount of dolly movement because of it's short length but overall it is a great tool for adding some production value to my shots.

Awesome affordable slider
Slider is well built, quality parts and it slides smooth. Awesome affordable slider except for the one that I had. The screw (see picture) was not recessed below the surface of the plate. When I mounted my camera, screwing it on directly to the plate, the screw scratched the bottom of my one month old A7ii. Ouch!Things to improve on for Mark III. Put markings or positive stops for the wheels to make setting the wheels easier. I had to a protractor to angle wheels and a square to straighten them.

Defective purchase
Loved this slider for the first week I had it... But the screws came off the one side and the black thing that holds in the wheel (meant to put string to pull the slider) fell right off. Consequently the actual slider mechanism has no stop and can just slide off the edge of the slider. Hoping that they send a replacement, but doubtful.

Great Price! Well Made, except for...
Well made dolly/slider combo. Probably one of the most affordable and well made products you will find for this price. The roller track is nice and smooth although I did notice some occasional bumping near the ends. I believe this is due to the the rollers having a little play in them, but they can be adjusted with allen screws.Cons: The knob for the sled brake is plastic. They should have made this out of aluminum or used a brass insert for the threads (the cheapest made item on the whole thing). I went to tighten it and not with a lot of pressure. It kept spinning and then the threaded stud cracked the knob in half making the brake useless. And yes you need it. The sled glides so easily that it will slam back and forth during transport. I contacted Kamerar and they said to contact the seller. Odd since I figured this to be a warranty item. I did and they said they could not help, but to contact Amazon. I did. Amazon then contacted the manufacturer while I was on the phone. A lot of run around just to get back where I started. I guess you have to rely on the powers of big business to make concessions for you. Kamerar told me to send a pic and they they could ship me a new one for $2.50, so I agreed. It was for S&H, but should have been free since I never even used the slider (this was clearly a manufacturing defect). So much of one that I even sent them recommendations and they said they would forward it to their engineers. It was less than a week old in which I didn't use it. It took about 10 days (slow but they ship USPS. What do you expect? And that was from TX to NC) to get the part, but I replaced and it works. Kamerar customer service was quick to respond to my emails, so that earned them one star in my book. There is no tension adjustment. The brake is just that. This thing glides super fast, which is not great when trying to get a nice slow, smooth slide. If you go too slow you will get the jerking in your video. You may have to adjust speed in post.Overall, I can't complain too much. It would be nice to have angle marks on the wheel axles so you can get the right angles.

... slider for a month and so far it's been awesome. Solid
I've had this slider for a month and so far it's been awesome. Solid, easy to handle, and very adjustable. The slider alone is good value but the dolly wheels make it by far the best option under $200 imo. Would highly recommend.
