Zona 36-676 Coping Saw Blades, 6-1/2-Inch Long Between Pins, .100-Inch x .018-Inch x 24 Tpi

I used to avoid my coping saw. I seriously contemplated buying one of those expensive ones that look like a truss bridge from the 40s. Then I heard Paul Sellers recommend these and I thought I'd try them. WOW! Set them up to cut on the PUSH stroke (like a regular western hand saw) and turn the saw only when you're pushing, and it's like a whole new tool. My cheap plastic Kobalt coping saw is now suitable for fine work. Took me all of 5 minutes to get comfortable with these blades, and now the saw never binds and it leaves a beautiful finish compared to the old blade. Plus, these are made in USA. I'll be buying only these blades now!

this is the ideal coping saw blade/tooth count for clearing out dovetails (if you are one that uses a coping saw for that purpose..). when i first got these, i cut about 100 tails and then the 100 matching pins with a single blade, and still going strong, no sign of wear..

I do finish carpenter and use my coping saw almost daily. It’s been over a month and I’m still using the same blade I put on my saw when I first got them.
