Very solid and easy to use canopy
I have purchased at least 5 different canopies in the past few years for outdoor sports and for my back porch. I've seen several varieties, but so far the MasterCanopy is the very best value for the money that I've found. First, the canopy cover construction is top notch. The cover is among the thickest and sturdiest I've seen. Many other canopies have small pinholes in them - this on is rock solid with a canvas-type outer layer and insulated silver inner layer. Frame construction is pretty standard - it will do the job but will likely collapse in a heavy wind or if mishandled (like, accidentally sitting on it or similar). Setup and takedown is an absolute breeze and is by far the easiest I've seen. The paddle-type locks for legs and canopy lock are top-notch and are simple to use. Many previous canopy levers required a weightlifter's strength to press, or worse, didn't exist at all. Some designs don't use a design but instead use a tiny button which is annoying and difficult to press. The MasterCanopy's takedown levers almost feel as if they are greased, and the entire assembly easily collapses with minimal effort. I did subtract one star for sturdiness due to the flimsy Velcro straps that hold the canopy to the frame, but those are easily replaced if they break. Price is a bit on the higher side, but since I set up and take down this canopy weekly, the price is well worth it for the ease of assembly. Recommended.

Great product and customer service
I am terrible about writing reviews. I buy way too much stuff, and forget about writing them. But for this - I am making an exception. Lengthy but worth the read if you're on the fence: I bought and set this canopy Nov 2021 and it was up 24/7. I had it tied to some attach points on our townhouse as well as staked in the ground. In Oregon we get some wind and lots of rain over the winter, my last canopy (not this brand) tore to shreds. This one withstood all of that with no issues whatsoever. Where it failed was where every brand would fail - my roommates dog was on the leash, got excited, wrapped himself around the leg and bolted. It ripped the aluminum leg in half. I rigged it up and got it to work again (barely) and my roommate was saying he would pay to replace it. Instead of having him pay for a full replacement, I decided to reach out to the company and see if there were any replacement parts available, save him some money. After a couple back-and-forth emails they sent a photo and I pointed out what I needed. They said it was going to ship from China and it was fairly expensive ($50 total) but I figure that's cheaper than an entire canopy! Fast forward 7 weeks - it arrived today! It was a full entire leg, not just the bottom piece I needed, which makes me feel even better about the $50 I spent, because now I have more spare parts if needed. I recently moved to SC, and this will be put up in the backyard and put to USE as the sun out here is brutal and much different than what I'm used to from the PNW. I can edit my review after more usage but I know it won't change in a few months - this canopy was the best canopy purchase I have made in the last 15 years and I am extremely happy. Great purchase for the $$ We are going to be buying their canopy with walls to set up at markets for my girl's business selling baked goods and macarons. After using this canopy, I won't be looking at other brands anytime soon. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger on this one and you will not be disappointed!

The canopy lives up to the features highlighted in the description.
The canopy has only been in my yard for a couple of months but it has truly lived up to the sellers description. The frame is sturdy and the canopy appears to be strong. Easy set up which I was able to do on my own. One of the features I was specifically looking for was a vent. Where I live in southern California most afternoons we have wind that blows 10-20 mph. In some cases 25-35 mph. So far the canopy has held up just fine.

Fair Weather Canopy
Easy to set up and works well at the beach. It’s a bit heavy, but not overly so, and the included bag makes it easier to carry. It does a good job of blocking the sun and light rain, but heavier rain is a problem—water pooled on top and caused it to break, even though everything was locked in place. Might have been user error, not totally sure. The frame will rust at the bottom over time. Customer service was helpful and assisted with a replacement. Overall, great for fair weather, but don’t rely on it in heavy rain.

First time's an almost charm
First setup was easier than expected. Having two unasked-for helpers will do that. I wasn't sure about the ropes because they aren't long enough to reach the anchors. Perhaps a re-read of the instructions will settle that. I was on the ground, so I used the metal brackets to hold it in place. I did get windy that day. Bent one because the guy using a hammer took a bad angle. It'll be alright. I've been filling the sandbags for a future event which take place on concrete. Every try holding a 50-pound bag of sand while pour it into one of these things, which has to be held open at the same time? Let's just say there's lots of free sand on the ground. Okay, so the tent itself was great, but the accessories are going to take some getting used to.

Save Your Money
Had high hopes for this canopy but it was a total fail. It looks nice when first set up but just did not have what it takes for summer shade. It was set up on the back patio in a space protected from wind on two sides by the house. There was no issue with the structure other than the mechanism to raise and lower the canopy did not function smoothly, it worked but required two people. The problem was the canopy fabric. The fabric was very thin, and more plastic than fabric. The fabric began to fade from tan to bleached out off white within about a month. As the summer progressed the fabric started to become very brittle. The corners of the canopy where it joined to the frame began to split about two months into its use. Shortly after the corners began to split, the canopy began to split at nearly every point where it came into contact with the frame structure. As the fabric became more brittle from sun exposure, the splits grew. We took the canopy down about two and a half months in because it was functionally useless due to the fabric splitting. The canopy was supposed to provide shade so one would assume it should hold up to sun exposure but no. The canopy was essentially plastic, woefully unable to handle morning sun in the midwest where high temps are in the upper 80's on 'hot' days. If you are looking for shade I would suggest looking further, and looking for canopy fabric made with a cotton content which this canopy totally lacked. Nicely stated, this canopy is not worth the money. Bluntly stated, this canopy is junk.

Glad I bought it
Starting with assembly I’ve put this together twice now. First time as a trial to see if I could do it myself or if I was gonna need help and during that trial I called my daughter out to help me. The second time at invent where me and my daughter who successively got it up the first time. Had to be assisted during the second time. Possibly because we were Trying to hurry. The first time we discovered that one of the legs could easily slide right past the notches income apart. That caused for some difficulties difficulties. Was a big headache to get 1/2 of the pool back inside of the second half of the pole and in a fashion that will allow it to lock. That design would’ve been a lot better if they had made it to where it simply didn’t come completely off there’s no reason why they shouldn’t have. But luckily when we were putting it together the second time we were cautious of that we were able to extend it and lock it into place. It was harder the second time to extend the roof as high as it was. The frame across the top Has to be squeezed together in order to get it to lock in the place and it definitely cannot be done easily with just two people. Once it was up it’s shaded and very well had a lot of space for my I think it was a 6 foot table and three display racks which we actually fit on the inside of the tent. It was quite windy that day and yes I did have to remember halfway through to secure it with the stakes. Also keep in mind where you’re going to be set up at. Where I was the ground head a thin layer stand but under that sand it was like clay and without a sledgehammer we didn’t get them all the way in by just stepping on them. I think I’ll be investing in the solid weights, stackable weights, Even though wait bags to come with this tent. The idea of filling those bags first and then keeping them filled and having to lug them around making sure that the sand doesn’t make a mess and fall out when I’m not using it it’s not a comforting idea for me but to their defense I haven’t tried filling it and lugging around yet.. The two improvements that I would do to this product first once you take everything out of the carrying case it takes creative minds to get it all back in to the carrying case. Kind of like when you go grocery shopping and you fill up a cart when you can cash out and try to put all that stuff back into the same cart it takes up more space and doesn’t all quite fit nice and neat like you had it. So if they had someway to map out how to fold the canopy so that it fit back into the carrying case. Secondly the carrying case it seems as if the carrying case is made out of the same nylon type material that the canopy is made out of or something lesser then I have a small car but I managed to fit all of this into the backseat of my small car I’m comfortably the display racks that had to be slid over everything else ended up catching theCarrying case and just that quick I got a whole. There’s no reason why the carrying case could’ve been made out of a stronger material. And yes they’re not completely to blame. All in all I’m glad I bought it and I just went back today and bought the side panel only one. There were other people out there with similar tents (different brands so ask questions) that had three walls up and their tents were hot! hot hot! just a little heads up.

Tolles Kindenservice !

Absolute winner
I had a few issues with this order, first its didnt arrive and the seller resent it. The product itself however is absolutely amazing. You need two people to open it up, its tricky and first but to close it, put it in the bag and open it again was sooooooooo much smoother than i thought it would be. The stakes arent good, then bend easily and i would remove a * for that however its so sturdy, waterproof and just the easy of closing it up, puttinf in a bag WITH WHEELS its an absolute winner. Honestly so much more impressed the more ive used it
