B245-BK Be Well Medical Spa Stool with Back, Black

I've only had it a couple days, but am very satisfied with the quality of this chair so far. The base is a heavy duty chromed steel that has a heft and rigidity about it that gives you confidence. The vertical cylinder is similar. The cushion and back are firm and comfortable and seem to be of a durable material - sort of a semi-soft faux leather. The seat spins very freely and the casters glide effortlessly on a hardwood floor. The seat size is not large and with no arm rests it is probably ideal for an active work station or task area. It's made really well and seems plenty heavy duty for me as 185 lb adult. The assembly instructions were acceptable, but it really is very intuitive and simple to put together in about 10 minutes. I get the sense that if I had picked up something similar at an office supplies store I would have paid more for something of lower quality. I bought this for my daughters' video editing station and chuckled when we realized that my 80 lb daughter is not heavy enough to compress the cylinder in order to lower the seat with simply her own body weight. Not a big problem as she is not adjusting it not that it is set, but shows you that it is built to be very sturdy. My second daughter gave it her blessing, so I just came onto Amazon to buy one for her as well. Two thumbs up.

I bought this because I have a digital stage piano sitting on a keyboard stand that puts the piano at a non standard position. No chairs I had put me at the proper piano playing position as my hands were too low. For the longest time I wanted to buy a chair like this, but surprisingly they are not so easy to find locally. So, I purchased this, the back rest version. It works perfectly. I can reach the piano keys with no problem, feet still on the ground, and I can adjust it as needed. It goes high enough to solve the problem. It spins very easy and rolls really easy too. Obviously, I'm not moving the chair much while playing, but when I need to roll over to some other gear, it rolls no problem. Then, I tried it while playing guitar. It works really well for that too. In fact, the back rest is nice and firm which allows you to rest your back without falling backwards. It's a firm back rest, so very little movement. This is what you want as a musician. It's comfortable and has all the features I need. If I had to guess, they probably made this for people who will be sitting in it all day while working (tattoos, ect...). It's really nice for that. It is on the firm side, but if you are going to be sitting all day this is probably what you want. I'm not sitting in it all day as I'm just using it when playing. But, it solved the piano chair issue I had and provided a guitar chair as well. Very nice.

So far, so good! Solid build, easy to put together. Simply functional. I was looking for an adjustable stool with a simple design to force me to revamp my posture and sit up straighter while working at my desk; this fit the bill for a good price. I work at home a few days a week for my full-time job and am also a freelance video/photo editor, so I spend a lot of hours at the desk staring at a screen; interested to see how this holds up with extended use. In the first week I've been using it, I can say it is holding up well; however, it is taking a bit of getting used to coming from an ergonomic desk chair with arms, multiple adjustments, etc. It has indeed started to change my posture, but after sitting for long periods I definitely start feeling fatigued; I think this will change in time as I become more acclimated to sitting in this position. I also bought the chair back-piece for times I want the extra support. I generally take a lot of "breaks" while working to get up and walk around/stretch to avoid fatigue, furthermore, I am looking into a standing desk so I won't be forced to be seated for long periods; I think this will stool will be a perfect combination for a standing desk configuration for those times you want to be seated. The height range of the lift mechanism is quite versatile for any setup and the chair pad is comfortable (it is a bit soft and compresses a lot when seated as others have noted) also, the chair pad/cover is not very breathable and you might work up a bit of a sweat on your "undercarriage" after sitting for extended periods:) I will say that I might be using this chair a bit out of it's range of intended use; this is absolutely perfect task/multi-purpose stool for shorter seating periods, but I think it will also hold up to a lot of abuse. Would definitely recommend for the price!

I love this chair! I researched everywhere to find the best chair to sit in while I painted at my easel. This far surpassed what I thought I would end up with. I put it together in minutes. Really easy. When I sat on it at my easel, after adjusting it to correct height, it was so comfortable I especially like the back support. It also swivels and has wheels. What more do i need?! I 100% recommend this chair to all artists and to anyone who needs some support and comfort while doing whatever it is they do. Oh, and its great for musicians as well being that it has no arms to get in the way of a guitar (great for piano too!.) Don't think twice about purchasing this one. I am so happy I bought this.

I was looking for high desk chair for my desk. Most chairs were too low, too expensive, and some were flat out uncomfortable! Working in the Emergency Department one comes to appreciate these stools. I was a little apprehensive of the price as I know hospitals pay big money for this type of stool. The height is adjustable and great if you have a very high desk. It was very easy to assemble. It fits perfectly with my room decor. It is very comfortable and perfect for studying. The material feels a little cheaper than the $300-500 stools, but for around $50 who cares? To note the material is much better than chairs at an equivalent price. I imagine that under normal home use it will last many years. If I had to buy another desk chair I would buy this. For the space it takes up and the price you cannot beat it. If I had to spend under $300 for chair I would get this one. As a musician it would also make a great drum throne. It is equally as comfortable as my drum throne and a third of the price!

I was looking for a chair for playing my guitar. Originally bought a $100.00 guitar stool that had great reviews. Realized after putting it together I needed/wanted back support. I then bought a $60.00 work shop stool with a back rest someone else said works great for a guitar stool. The height was too tall and comfort not great. Hoping not to get 3 strikes I ordered this one. Unpackaging all the materials seemed to be good and on par with the price. Not great but good. Very easy to put together. Height is perfect for how I use it with my guitar. Back support doesnt have height adjustment but you can adjust it a little back and forth which makes a big difference. Seat so far is quite comfortable after breaking it in the past couple of weeks. I'm very glad I found this chair. I don't think I would have been playing the guitar even half as much with the other stools I bought. It's light weight, rolls easy, and doesn't feel like it's going to tip over at all. I hands down recommend this chair for playing the guitar or just about any instrument you have.

I needed a replacement chair for my computer desk in my basement. The thing is, I also have a workbench that I use it for, and the benchtop is a bit higher than the computer desk. Also, I play guitar, and to do that sitting down requires a chair with no armrests. So I really needed a chair that would handle these three different purposes equally well. I'm happy to say that this chair actually does all three things really well. The backrest is perfect especially when using at the computer for long periods of time, which was a concern, since the chair it replaced had a full-sized office style backrest. The height is adjustable for what I need for my workbench, and the lack of armrests actually is better, too. Lastly, I can play guitar sitting down in this chair, because there are no armrests, but the backrest doesn't get in the way, either. I bring this up because there are a lot of barstool-like chairs that are sold specifically for playing guitar, and many of them don't have a backrest, or wheels. I can also say that the construction of this chair is really good. It seems really strong and sturdy, and the seat cushion is well-padded. Also, the round seat cushion does work well for my purposes, even when sitting at the computer. It's easier to swivel around and move than a more traditional type of chair.
