Liquitex Fluid Mediums perform much in the way that their name implies, they are fluid in nature and reduce viscosity of heavier paints and gels. They tend to self-level and do not retain brushstrokes. Liquitex Fluid Mediums modify acrylic paints in a variety of ways and contain acrylic resins to maintain or enhance adhesion and durability. Liquitex Slow-Dri Blending Medium Fluid Painting Medium is a unique formulation that extends drying time up to 40% for blending with acrylics. Adds flow to Liquitex Heavy Body Professional Artist Color and is similar in body to Liquitex Soft Body Professional Artist Color. Mix any amount into color to enhance the depth of color intensity, increase transparency, gloss, ease flow of paint and add flexibility and adhesion to paint film. **Q: Is this waterproof?**
A: No - This is not waterproof:DescriptionAll-purpose medium formulated to be mixed into acrylic paints and mediums. Mix into any acrylic paint to enhance the depth of color intensity, increase transparency, gloss, ease flow of paint and add flexibility and adhesion of paint film. Use as a nonremovable varnish to protect painting and establish gloss sheen surface. Translucent when wet, transparent when dry. Dries to a non-tacky, hard, flexible surface that is resistant to dirt retention. Depending upon substrate, allows moisture to pass through (breathable). Will not crack as surface expands and contracts during temperature and humidity changes. Not for use over oil paint.Thanks,Bill WrightTreyco

**Q: Can I use this to seal my daughters crayola canvas paintings?**
A: If the paintings are with Crayola crayons then no, the acrylic will not adhere..  if  they are crayola poster paints then a spray varnish must be used. The first coat or two should be very light to prevent bleeding.

**Q: Can this be used in collage to make the image adhere to the paper? or is there a better thing to use for that?**
A: It could be used to adhere a paper to another paper or a paper to a background of wood or canvas. I don't know whether it would be the best product for that purpose, though.

**Q: Can you use this in an acrylic and silcone pour painting and do you still need to seal it with this or another product?**
A: You should use a product like this to seal any porous surface.  Substrates like wood, for instance, tend to drink paints, silicones  and resins if they arent sealed. If you are not using resin, i would use a polycrylic to seal it after your pour. Just make sure you wait until your pour is completely dry and you have cleaned off silicone residue.
