Original watch strap for DW-6900, 71604262

Perfect fit for my broken strap. Literally took me 2 minutes to replace. So glad I bought this

In terms of materials and fit - it's identical to the factory strap that came on my G-2500. In other words, if you liked the original strap - you'll like this one. I was concerned that the tongue and buckle are made of plastic, but they seem well-made and durable enough in person, so I don't think they'll be points of failure. Worth mentioning: on G-2500 you cannot reattach the plastic retainer bar for the original strap that is held on with screws. The design of this strap is slightly different and doesn't allow for the bar to go over it as it does on the original. Functionally, I don't think that retainer is hugely necessary, however, you'll have screw holes exposed. IMO, this only adds to the rugged, utilitarian, "unfinished" look of the watch, but your mileage may vary.

Factory G-Shock replacement, I needed to buy fresh pins but it fits like new, now for another 10 years in a body shop and see how long this one last... this watch and band has taken a beating on shop floor..

I bought this knowing it was for a casio and guessing I would need to modify it to fit my timex marathon. The tabs on the marathon watch was a little longer than the gap allowed for the band. I had to shave the band to let it slide in further in on the marathon tabs; only about 1/16 of an inch. The band is stiff so hopefully it will conform with some use. I thought I would give this band a try since it was made for the 16mm pin size of my watch. There are not many good replacement watch bands out there that are flexible, not elastic, not water absorbing, and long enough to fit my wrist. Hopefully it will last several years. The last casio band which was similar to this did not last very long. My other last purchase of silicone band was not long enough and lasted slightly less than a year. So not made for my watch, modified and hoping for long lasting wear. Time will tell.

What kind of stupid company sends a new watch band and no new spring pins??? How do they know your pins are still good when you remove the old band?? Cheap stupid Chinese made garbage. I hate products from China. And Amazon won't allow a return on this watch band. BS!!! Next time I'll go to a qualified watch repair place and pay the extra money. Sometimes Amazon really SUCKS!!! Are you listening Bezos?? Probably not.

Pain in the Butt to install. I lost the "bar" that goes into the watch when it took off like a rocket. Just buy a new watch.

Good for the price, seems same quality as what my watch came with. If you're not good at small specific tasks, take it to a pro to install and save yourself a headache! Will be buying another one for other watch soon.
