Each package contains 10 plates, featuring a breathable cellulose bag to prevent moisture build-up, and polystyrene plates with raised rings for easy stacking and stability. ## Description Product description Hardy Diagnostics Mannitol Salt Agar (MSA), USP is recommended for use as a selective and differential medium for the isolation of pathogenic staphylococci. The medium complies with the harmonized European, U.S., and Japanese Pharmacopoeias for determining the microbial quality of non sterile products. These products are not intended to be used for the diagnosis of human disease. Do not ingest, inhale, or allow to come into contact with skin. This product is for in vitro diagnostic use only. It is to be used only by adequately trained and qualified laboratory personnel.The Hardy Diagnostics manufacturing facility and quality management system have achieved ISO 13485 certification as a medical device manufacturer. Step 1 Prepare a sample using a 1:10 dilution. Step 2 Inoculate a suitable amount (main suitability of test method) of TSB, USP and homogenize. Step 3 Incubate at 30- 35ΒΊC for 18-72 hours. ## Features - For the selective isolation and differentiation of Staphylococcus spp. based on high salt content and mannitol fermenation.
