Review: A book every woman should read and gift! - This is my third Emily Ley book and I also use her planners each year. Emily’s books have a way if speaking to me at the core. She peels back all the feelings of overwhelm, struggle for balance, and trying to be “great” for all of those around us and helps women to take back control of their own lives. This book is my new favorite and I know it will be one I come back to again and again. I hope that many of the women in my life take the time to also read Emily’s carefully crafted words as I have no doubt this book is going to start a revolution for women to find their rhythm and make changes and decisions to allow themselves to live their very best life. My life is changed because of Emily Ley’s books and I encourage everyone to read this (or listen). I may even ask my husband to read it!

A book every woman should read and gift!
This is my third Emily Ley book and I also use her planners each year. Emily’s books have a way if speaking to me at the core. Sometimes Good is Beautiful and Great can be a little exhausting
This book spoke to my soul. Such an easy read but so uplifting! Everything this Mommas heart needed to hear. As a mom of 4, my life is chaotic and I feel like we have to do ALL the things. I feel like we HAVE to do everything and it needs to be GREAT to be memorable. The words Emily so eloquently wrote, gave me the permission and reminders I needed to slow down and do what works and is important to MY family. And that Good is Beautiful and Great can be a little exhausting! I’ve read all of Emily’s books and they have ALL spoke to me in so many ways! Thank you Emily for speaking your truths to help this Momma speak hers!

Delete Instagram, make a cup of tea, and call your friends.
As I enter the business of the holidays and wrapping up the year for work, Emily Ley’s new book #whenlessbecomesmore was a voice telling me to slow down, breathe, and focus on the beauty found in margin and rest. Here’s to nights of silence from technology and instead laughter with friends over meals or the sounds of book pages turning while sipping on a cup of hot tea.

Loved every word
When Less Becomes More is what we all need. Emily beautifully discusses modern day burnout like no one else. She makes no claims at being an expert, but is in the trenches with us. Mothering, working, doing all the things. She will speak to your soul and leave you wanting more. As I made my way through each chapter, I could feel my own anxiety lesson. Not only was it amazing to read her experiences and realize that I wasn’t alone in my daily struggles, but the way she broke it down by sections helped me identify where I could make changes in my life to slow down and stop the seemingly unending hamster wheel marathon. It’s a book you will want to read and reread for years to come.

Worth your time & money!
This book is fantastically written, and such a beautiful book! But it goes more than surface-deep! You will feel encouraged & heard as you read this book, and you will find that so many others are having similar struggles & stresses that you are! Emily is so raw & real, and I love how she isn't afraid to say it like it is, call it all out on the table, so that we can MAKE A CHANGE! We don't have to live like this!!! Thank you, Emily, for this book & for the heart behind your entire company!! You are making this world a better place one woman at a time!

Awesome encouragement to living the slow, good life!
This book is like reading a letter from a close friend, giving you permission to do life differently and encouraging you to focus on what matters most. Emily shares relatable stories and encouragement that fill you with hope and the desire to change. The overwhelm women feel today is huge and this book shows you that 1.) you are not alone and 2.) you were made for more. I’ll revisit this book often because the truths are so real and speak directly to my mom/wife/daughter heart! If you are like me and could listen to Emily’s words on repeat, this book is a must!

I can't stop raving about this book. I was a part of the Launch Team and read an advanced copy. I am on the second read of it. It made me stop in my tracks and remind myself that all that is simple is beautiful and that those are the memories I will remember. This book talks alot about adding margin to your life. While the author may have more means than some of her readers (she mentions going away on retreat type holidays to refuel), there are ways you can make margin and enjoy the simple things in life to refuel. A bubble bath, a warm cup of tea...a walk. I loved her heart behind using the time of deep hardship to lean into the message of the gospel. The message of contentment is woven through the pages of this book. I highly recommend reading this book. Less can be More. In this pace of life currently circling around today's families, I want to make sure I look up and see what matters.
