How long is the gradual release of this vitamin?

The tablets have multiple layers of vegetable cellulose, of varying thickness, that dissolve over a period of 12 hours. The 1000 mg sustained release would release Vitamin C over a 12 hour period.

Vitamin C as Ascorbic acid 1000mg, microcrystalline cellulose, methocel, magnesium stearate, dicalcium phosphate, silicon dioxide, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, pharmaceutical glaze, talc, carnuba wax. F182623 EXP 01/2021

What is the tablet size?

The tablet is 3/4 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. The ends are tapered and it is very smooth. It's not hard to swallow.

Is the tablet small and easy to swallow

The answer to your question is, "NO"; this tablet is on the large size and not as easy to swallow as a lot of the other supplement tablets I take daily.
