10Gtek DAC Cable: Because Fiber Optics Are So Overrated
Alright, if you’re here, you probably already know this isn’t your average “plug in and charge your phone” cable. This 10Gtek SFP+ DAC Twinax cable is the techie equivalent of a high-speed dating service for your network gear — direct, fast, and no nonsense. It’s passive, it’s copper, and it screams “I’m serious about data” at 10 gigabits per second. No fancy fiber optic lasers or magic dust — just good old-fashioned metal doing what it does best: carrying your bits and bytes like a champ.I mean, sure, it looks like a glorified chunk of wire with connectors on both ends, but don’t let the humble appearance fool you. This cable is the secret handshake for networking pros who want low latency and high performance without breaking the bank.If you want your servers to gossip at lightning speed and keep your data center from turning into a digital snail race, this baby’s your go-to. Just don’t ask me to explain exactly how it works — I’m still figuring out what “10GBASE-CU” means without Googling.

Compatible with Grandstream switches.
Works perfectly with my Grandstream switches and routers to connect them together. Don't have anything but Grandstream gear, so can't speak for compatibility with any other brands.

10GB patch cable works brilliantly
Bought a couple of these and they work great when bonding two switches together (10GB)

It works
Seems to b of decent build quality. A little thinner than Cisco-branded DACs, but a bit more flexible. Didn't test throughput extensively, but no complaints moving large amounts of data between devices. Can confim it works perfectly fine on 10G SFP+ ports on several Cisco devices, as well as a Mellanox 10/25G NIC. The fact you can order these at a multitude of lengths, and significantly cheaper--unless there's compatibility issues with certain equipment, or you have a service agreement that forbids it, I don't see a caveat.

DAC make good choices for inexpensive SFP+ switch updates
the copper DAC are thicker cables, but the link quality and ease-of-use make these better choices in most cases than 10GBASE-T copper SFP modules.

Best deal, reliable at 1+ years, 100% advertized speed.
I now have 10 or more of these cables and I have been using them for well over a year now. zero failures. I get 100% the advertised speed, As in the exact specified speed. I never get packet drops, losses, disconnects, crashes, nothing. I run 2x cables per system 100% happy. I needed more and I had to go look through my purchase history to see which brand I got as they were such a good deal. The brands I was supposed to buy were significantly higher price and I get a dead flat 10Gbps transfer per cable! And the latency is absolutely fantastic. I use this with a Microtik switch and mellanox network cards. And I have never had a single issue. The release mechanism takes a second to learn but has such a satisfying click and release feel / sound even.

cable fine but pull tabs break
Cable works fine, however one of the pull tabs broke after normal use (has been inserted/removed only once).
