TEMO M35 Cobalt Spiral Step Drill Unibit Bit, 13 Size 1/8"-1/2", 1/4" Shank

This is surprisingly good!!! Purchased in order to drill out #9 nail holes in hurricane straps to fit #10 structural screws where added pull-out resistance is needed. I had already drilled about 80 holes in 18ga stainless steel with a well known name brand unibit that cost 3x as much. But it has stopped working, and is showing both wear and heat stress. Was able to finish the project with the TEMO unibit, in which I drilled over 300 holes with this new bit from TEMO, another 80 in 18ga stainless steel, and the rest in 16ga galvanized steel, and the bit still looks new, with no signs of damage or heat stress!

I install truck accessories, mainly snowplows. Over 60 installs per season. One of these bits has drilled over 200 holes in various truck frames, mostly Fords. I have not found a better, faster drill bit. Absolutely hands down the most efficient tool to cut holes in frames I've ever used. Now if I could find a locking impact rated 1/4" bit extension that performs as well as this I'd be set.

I have been looking for years for a good step bit. I finally found one. This thing is a beast. Cuts through steel, aluminum, even stainless like butter and lasts forever. Don't buy other brands, they don't last. This thing has the hex shank so it fits a drill without slipping, easy to use. Comes in a nice plasic storage case. Compatible with hand drill or drill press.

It worked better than my titanium coated step drill, but it still took a really long time to drill a hole thru a commercial grade stainless steel sink. I only drilled 2 steps and the steel wasn't that thick. Maybe I was doing something wrong. Anyway, the point still seemed sharp after I was done, but I don't know if it would have survived a second attempt.

This is the most amazing step bit I have ever used!!! I didn't know that this existed until I watched "project farm" on YouTube. I use it to drill through high tensile strength semi truck frame. It was absolutely the best and fastest cut I have ever seen. 100% the best. If there is something better, please let me know.

I’ve never used a step bit before and I have been missing out. This thing is amazing, it drills through metal with ease and it seems to continue to stay sharp. I have used drill bits in the past that were made for metal and they got dull so quick but this step bit keeps on going. I also use oil lubricant to help keep the bit cooler which I think helps a lot. I am very happy with this product and it was well worth the money.

Works great. The spiral shape of cut reduces tear out. Highly recommend this tool.

Use this inappropriate lot of my jobs.. has saved my life nay a time and it's tough.. worth the investment
