Solid, nice weight, handles well, high quality broom. I like it a lot.

I wasn’t sure how a pieced-together broom would work, but this one is a good one. The handle seems to be solid, and the broom is a little bit larger than others I’ve bought in stores in the past. So far, it is working well.

4 +1/2 STARS! First of all, I am NOT unhappy with this purchase, and the price was mighty right. But, it did take some getting used to. The previous owner of my 4 plex unit left a wizened Fuller Brush broom behind. It was tucked into the corner of our 12 x 9 four walls x 15 ft high atrium, which I immediately updated adding a sliding door exit from the secondary bedroom across the space from another slider, the original. My plan was to be able to crack both doors 8" or so (3 small dogs) could run Zoomie laps. They did, and they also killed 5 area rugs, so are now in permanent jail behind the baby gate at the back of the house. O.K., The broom is why you are here! The old Fuller broom had a very rusted encasement to hold the poly bristles. It took 12 years of daily use from me, brushing and sometimes scrubbing the patio tile when the dog leavings were extreme, but in addition to the 42 years the previous owner likely used it, I squeezed that additional 12 years out of it. The same style was available online for $90. Nope. Sorry Fuller. And I miss the doorbell and the "Fuller Brush Man!" $13 for the new Amazon broom was too affordable to pass by. IT IS GOOD AND WOULD HAVE BEEN AT 3X WHAT I PAID! So why the Star deduction? It's heavy, and cumbersome. I am OLDER now with torn rotator cuffs needing protection. I had to choreograph my task out there in that confined space, dotted with seating and a dining cart. Read the dimensions of the broom and weight as posted before ordering it. Also, it was much too tall after screwing the 3 pole segments together, so I'm storing one in the closet for replacing a rusted pole if needed. Using just 2 segments made it easier for me at 5'6", to move in the space more easily, but even in a larger more open space, it would be a help if the weight and length of the entire assembly was the smaller size. It seems sturdy, it cleans well in both dry use, and the occasional damp scraping of "dry stuff!" In that I could pay 1/6 the cost of the Fuller broom, for the potential same 60 years of use, not much to complain about. PROVISO: It's a beefy, wide bristle end as well, so if your using it in an area holding many objects with legs, wheels, etc., it may be wise to go smaller. Still, 4 + 1/2 stars from me!

Never thought I’d the kind of person who is reviewing a broom, but here we are. And as weird as this sounds, this a great broom. What could possibly be the difference? The bristles are flexible but also move enough to really get the space clean. If it magically did the work itself that would be perfection but I will settle for this instead. Might go buy another one because I feel like there’s no way something this great can last forever.
