Nothing is perfect, right? The best way to judge a product and its Seller is by what happens when things don't go as expected. From experience, Govee stands by its products when the order isn't perfect. I'll look for a reason to buy from Govee again.I first reviewed this product (64 feet of RGB LEDs) about a week after we installed them, and I gave 5 stars in every category except the Overall Rating, which I gave a 1 Star Rating. Sets of LEDs were failing each day (it was up to 12 groups of 5 lights by the time we received the replacements), and our family was upset that our third try to put up LEDs had failed. My expectations were low; other manufacturers didn't respond to our e-mails, and I unfairly let the past direct my expectations for Govee.I emailed Govee late one night, and by the time I woke up, I had a cordial response from them. We went through a couple of emails verifying everything and sending them pictures of the defective lights up on the wall, a process that went similarly quick. A replacement set was sent, no arguments, no dickering over shipping costs, and no games.All of their claims in the description are spot on. These lights stick to the wall (thank you 3M). There are no color variations as the LEDs get further from the power source. The remote and receiver are truly responsive (no pushing the buttons harder and harder until your thumb hurts), no removing and reinstalling the battery, and none of the age-old universal fix, tap it (knock it) against a hard surface until it responds. The wall mount controls are great and are used to turn on and adjust them 90% of the time. The cords are long enough that you don't need to tape an extension cord to the wall to reach the plug. It's got great features, and these are great LEDs. We will buy more.

These were awesome lights! My daughter loved them, she put them up in her room! They liked beautiful, they connected good, easy, fun, the blinking was cool. The remote was the best, especially for lazy bums who can just walk over and flip a switch off, but the convenience is great tho!

After researching and reading many LED Light Strip descriptions/reviews here on Amazon, I finally decided to try these Govee ones. I'm very glad I did as they have been excellent so far. There are many levels of brightness and tons of colors to switch between. The adhesive on the back is very strong and doesn't show any signs of weakening. The remote works great and responds almost perfectly. Although sometimes it won't drop to the darkest setting using the remote (easy to fix by just using the wall switch).Also worth noting, Govee's customer service is absolutely amazing! After about one month, 1 LED burnt out and it gradually spread to 5 (which is one section). It's only noticeable on certain colors. Like, if I switch it to white light, they will show up yellow. Or, if I switch to blue, they don't light up at all. This only happened on one of the strips (this set comes with two strips). When I contacted Govee about the issue, they responded promptly and sent out a replacement strip right away, free of charge. They even contacted me multiple times to see if everything was taken care of. Decided I'll still keep up the defective strip for now but it's nice having the replacement strip as an option. I would recommend this brand to anyone looking for some solid LED Light Strips. Will update this review every couple months.

I was looking for something to put under my kitchen cabinets to light up my counters which were too dark with regular lighting to see well when prepping meals or reading recipes. I was able to put these up without help and as you can see the difference in without and with lights in the recessed corners. There are also many colors you can choose for when not in a room for ambient color. I looked at puck lights and stick lighting as well but these provide light along the entire counters and for a much better price. I like the remote but you can also turn the lights on with the wired on/off switch. If I could change one thing, I would like an option with a long cord that could be used between the 2 sections. As you can see with the red lights, in order to use the 2 sections I had to run a light section behind my kitchen sink which is a possible point of failure. Will report back if that becomes an issue.

This light strip is very nice and works great. The adhesion is strong and the installation was easy. Cutting the strip was very clear and did not cause any issues with the light strip.The colors are bright and there are many to choose from. There are also a lot of settings on the remote, some of which I do not understand.The only problem I had was with the remote and receiver. Since they are infrared, they are very sensitive to blockages and distance. This led to me contact customer service. They responded quickly and provided an adequate explanation of the issue I was experiencing. There was nothing wrong with the product, it just a symptom of the technology used in this light strip. For the price, I can live with the remote/receiver sensitivity.Update: After less than a year of regular use, 3 of the LEDs are showing a different color than the rest. If the strip is blue, those three are Green. If the Strip is red, those 3 are Pink. I hope it doesn't get worse.
