I recently added this black gravel to my aquarium and I’m really impressed with how it transformed the whole look! Right away, the dark gravel made the fish and plants pop. It also created such a clean, bold background that makes colors stand out beautifully. The gravel was nice and clean (very little dust), and after a quick rinse it settled perfectly on the bottom without all the cloudiness or fuss some other gravels cause. It felt like a solid, and good quality and gave my tank a polished, finished look. My aquarium now looks more vibrant and “designed,” and the gravel gives a nice base for plants and decorations Everything feels more put-together than before. I used this gravel to refresh my aquarium setup, and the difference was immediate. The color mix (pink, green, and blue) is vibrant without looking dull or washed out, and it really brings the whole tank to life—especially once the lights are on. The biggest standout is how well it reflects light. Under aquarium lighting, the colors pop and give that glowing effect GloFish setups are known for. It adds a lot of visual interest without needing a ton of extra decorations. The gravel itself is a good size—not too fine where it turns messy, but not overly chunky either. It spreads evenly across the tank and creates a clean, polished look once everything is set up. Before adding it to the tank, I did rinse it thoroughly, which I definitely recommend. There was some initial dust (which is normal), but after rinsing, the water stayed clear and I didn’t have any cloudiness issues. It also works well with plants and decorations. Everything sits securely without shifting around too much, which makes aquascaping easier. Excellent, glows under black light. Pebbles are a bit bigger than other pebbles.

Not much to say about rocks bright in colors the ones i got anyway just they dont come with a bunch of particles on them like some you buy i clean my rocks off before putting them in my tanks and the water was still pretty clean just a few little pieces that if you missed they float to the top of your tank and you can use a fishnet to scoop them out

Good amount of gravel for a 5 gallon tank. Glows with tank light. My son loves it.

This is terrible quality black dyed gravel. It breaks apart very easily and crumbles into tiny pieces and despite rinsing it, my fish started dying a while after placing it in their tank. After removing them 3 out of five died and suffered in the process. Totally toxic and unsafe.
