Gateway ZX4270-UR30 19.5-Inch All-in-One Desktop (Black) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I bought this for my son for Christmas.It says it has touchscreen but as soon as he tried it this inside CRACKED! I bought the 4 year warranty AND had the 1 year warranty from Gateway. The 4 year said there was nothing they could do unless I had purchased a separate warranty..Which i did not see when buying it..TRUST ME I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN IT! Since it was a couple months old I called the company..Let me tell you that is not a easy number to get.After using my magnifying glass to see the number to input the SIN # or whatever it is to just be lucky enough to get the number, I call and they tell me that the screen must have been ruined by my son. I explained that there is NO DAMAGE at all to the outside of the screen. They refuse to help me and told me I could send it in and pay another 200 to fix it. HORRIBLE TIME all around. Not to mention its soooooooo slow to begin with. My son would have to turn it on and go eat breakfast then come back to get on. DO NOT BY THIS DESKTOP. I was able to buy him a better one as he needs it for homeschooling. I am keeping it to show as many people as I can how horrible the products they have are. I feel that passionate about how horrible it is!

I purchased this desktop to be used as a point of sale system in my business. I haven't used it a lot, but from what I can see so far, it looks to be a decent computer for the price. It does run a little on the slow side, but I am running some memory hogging software on it. I just love that I no longer need to worry about my CPU being on the floor where it could be accidentally kicked or spilled on. In fact, I'm seriously considering using a bit of museum putty on the base of the monitor to keep it from accidentally being moved.

good pc, downside you cant upgrade the processor, which i thought you could when i purchsed it , and it rejected windows 8.1 , and went back to windows 8 , also after i bought it it went on sale for 300 bucs so one day difference cost me 100 bucs, its a den room pc my son loves it, i did upgrade the memory, it has an analog 3.5 headphone jack but no mic jack unless your going to use usb, overall im satisfied.

It is good low-end machine. Not that speedy, windows 8 is terrible … However it is a beautiful display and pretty clear and crisp.

I haven't had chance to see how well this computer fits with what she wanted it for, her school work.

We have tried everything in order to connect this PC to our wireless network. My son has not been able to enjoy the PC although we loved the features and functionality of it, not being able to access the internet defeats the purpose. Gateway help has told me numerous things including the PC doesn't have a built in modem. A modem shouldn't matter, and it finds our network just won't allow us to connect. Wow gateway....

I've had this computer about three weeks. Nothing but trouble. Registered skype account. No way to video chat with contacts. Point and grab does not work. IMPOSSIBLE to get any help with Gateway by computer or phone. Says serial numbers or snid does not match their product. I have til end of month to send back. As much as I hate HP, I'd rather have one than this non working piece of GATEWAY JUNK. DO NOT TRUST GATEWAY!!

Love it this is hands down the best computer I ever had. Its fast,looks great and it's programs that comes with the system are great.I do advise anyone who buy this computer that a few programs are temporary like 30days .but don't let that fool you into buying programs .just go to the app store program that comes with it and like me you can find free apps to replace the ones that want you to buy.
