Nice little sturdy USB port that mounts out of the way.. really like the design.. Would LOVE to see an 8 port version! If the devs are reading reviews, you need to make versions with 8 and 12 ports, AND add some USB - C ports to it as well. Unit is well made, mounts perfectly to my desk and is out of the way and not intrusive! Am here actually buying 2 more of them.

Attached to side of my desk, works great as a USB hub for my work from home desktop setup and the USB devices I use (Headset charging, external drive, etc.). Looks nice and professional also. The width of the top lip is a little thin so make sure you measure whatever you are attaching too first before buying to make sure it will hang on. If it fits then the thumbscrew tightens pretty good and it hangs on well.

This is very well-built and definitely provides good value for the money. It also works great bit I did not do any actual speed testing. I will say it seemed plenty fast to me. The only issue I have with it is that the clamping area is so shallow that I couldn't use it on my desk because my desk has rounded top and bottom edges that the clamp could not reach past.

I have been using thunderbolt docks with my macbooks for years. My new job has me working on a System76 Laptop running Ubuntu. No thunderbolt ports on this machine left me needing a usb hub when docking my laptop at the office. I chose this hub because it's aluminum finish matches my desk setup. The mounting mechanism keeps it mounted out of the way, but easily accessible if I need to switch anything out. The mount is surprisingly solid and does not wiggle when plugging and unplugging devices. Currently attached are a WASD coder keyboard, Logitech C920 webcam, BLU Snowball mic and Monoprice USB headphone tube amp. Since, the hub does not have an external power supply, I was concerned that the hub would not be able to power the mic and web cam. Thankfully USB 3 provides enough power to keep these peripherals going. One weird thing on this hub is that the host cable is a USB A male to male cable. I am not sure the reason for this cable choice. It works, but don't expect to use an existing USB A to B cable if you had a longer cable laying around you wanted to use.

Arrived quick, works great. My new laptop just has 2 USB ports, this expanded the USB ports making the computer more useable. Its clamp design shows me amazing tidiness. The only shortcoming is that there is not extra power supply for the hub. But it does not matterr for me.

I got this because my monitor has a couple USB ports on the back, however, since they are on the back, its a pain to plug anything in. its easy enough to install, just clamp it to where you want it, and then plug in the USB extension that comes with the hub. Keep in mind that this is not powered, so you need to keep track of how much power drain your plugged in devices have. It can support a single high powered device, but can take multiple low powered ones, like USB flash drives. The main thing I have a gripe with, is the addition of a pointless blue LED on the front thats annoying in the dark. I get that this is a white label product, but when will product designers learn that blue LEDs are terrible? I just put a small piece of electrical tape over the LED to block it out.

This is a nice USB 3.0 Hub, and it does feel well built. However, the photos don't illustrate how shallow the clamp is. Most desks and monitors have a beveled edge, so if you attempt to clamp it to the last 1.5 inches, the hub will just pop off the angled edge. If you're working at a cubicle, this would work well; as those desks have a nice square edge to clamp. However, for any desk that has a bevel, the clamp just pops off. I'm lucky that my 2nd monitor had a square edge, so I've got it clamped to the bottom.

I am using this hub with my LptopPC. I have it set up on a bed-side table (next to my bed). I have more USB devices than ports on my Laptop. This hub clamps to the side of the table securely so I can connect and disconnect peripherals as needed. As I see it, the only caveat is that you must check that the surface you intend to mount this on fits within the capacity of the clamp. With that said, this hub is the answer to myproblem!

Convenient and discreet, but in my case a wired mouse connected to this hub sometimes lags for a second or two - the issue never experienced when plugged directly.

Lo compre por qué está muy bonito, luce mucho, pero solo tiene 4 puertos, para conectar gadgets, discos duros, lámparas, base enfriadora, etc... Si existiera otro igualito pero con el doble de entradas sería genial. Eso sí debes pensar dónde y como lo vas a agarrar a tu mueble o mesa de trabajo.

Excelente calidad, sobre todo que esta hecho con aluminio, ademas que cuenta con gomas que protegen la superficie en donde sera colocado, el ancho maximo es de 3 cm porque la goma de tornillo + que permita enroscarse para sujecion necesita Medio centimetro, o quitar la goma y hacer presion directa desde el tornillo. Pero En general, excelente y su diseño es muy elegante.

Los puertos USB 3.0 ULBRE llegaron antes de la fecha establecida, el empaque en muy buen estado, sigue prevaleciendo la calidad de la paquetería y envío de Amazon Prime, se agradece bastante. Requería puertos 3.0 adicionales para trabajar con transferencia rapida de datos, mayor a 2.0 desde luego, estoy operando con dispositivos USB externos sin problema ni pérdida de conexión o intensidad, espero seguir así: antena Wifi 5G sin perdida de intensidad, mouse inhalambrico, conexión de movil, memorias USB. Experimento al anclar los puertos en un extremo de la pantalla de la Laptop, buscando el sitio idóneo para no lastimar la pantalla, parece funcionarme sobre todo al trabajar en espacios limitados, públicos o al aire libre. Sugiero que al manipular el tornillo de anclaje y la goma que vá enroscada, se haga con cuidado, ya que al aflojar el tornillo se desprende la goma con todo y rosca, no lo considero un defecto, mas bien una caracteristica y una lógica de anclaje y apriete de este tipo de puertos USB, por lo cual decidí aquirirlo ya que se puede fijar en varios puntos aparte de la propia PC o Laptop. Si la superficie a la que se va anclar los puertos USB resulta mas delgada que la holgura que permite el tornillo, siempre existe la posibilidad de adaptar una goma en el extremo del aluminio, para que apriete mejor, lo cual también es una opción de adaptación que ofrece este modelo, no lo considero tampoco un defecto. Reportaré más adelante si se mantiene la calidad del producto. Por lo mientras estoy satisfecho.

Lo utilizo en una macbook, dejo todos los dispositivos instalados en este hub.
