## Description

Speed up the time it takes to pair your Bluetooth headset to your NFC capable smartphone. With a simple touch between the two, the process is completed automatically, so you'll be ready to take a call or listen to your favorite playlist in no time. Easier than connecting a cable. Touch once to pair your smartphone with your wireless headset.

Review: No regrets here... - As a super finicky person I am surprisingly pleased with this item. It wouldn't pair while charging but, unlike a previous reviewer posted, you CAN plug it into a charger and use it once it is already paired. Another feature I didn't see in the description but was pleased to discover is that you can double click the play button to ignore a call. I like that the clip swivels so you can have the cord/buttons oriented to your liking. A tiny led flashes green when battery is over 90%, yellow between 10%-90%, red below 10%, blue if its visible to other bluetooth users because two devices can be connected to it... Just so people can mess with you?, and purple if there is an incoming call... Just in case you can't hear the ringing? Or Sony just wanted to show off more colors for any reason and that is totally something I can get behind no matter how useless the feature! The bass is just fine, true it's no subwoofer but its definitely better than your average car radio. The range is great at 10-15ft and still worked at 30ft but only if I stayed reaaallly still... A little spotty but good if u walk out of range for a quick minute and don't want to deal with reconnecting the device. Well worth the $30 if you're on a budget but can afford a small luxury such as this. UPDATE: After using this for about 25 hours per week for the past 9 months it started randomly pausing itself and will occasionally, sometimes often, beep at me as if I were going out of range even though I'm only a couple foot away from the device that it is connected to. Still worth it in my opinion.
Review: Best I've tried so far - I've owned 4 different BT receivers like this, but this one beats in almost all categories. PROS: - small - long battery life (get 7 hours of continues music streaming) - great sound (but only when using different headphones) - NFC Just touch back of you NFC enabled phone and you are all set. No fiddling with settings required. - connects to two devices at the same time - works while charging (very important if you on road a lot) - very secure clip that rotates 360 degree (what!) no more broken wire because it has to bend 180 degree by gravity - dedicated on/off switch - standard micro usb charging port There are few things, though, that could be improved, but by no means should stop you from getting it: CONS: - doesn't support inline mic from headset. This means you can't clip it to your pants and use for for phone calls. - the forward/rewind/play/pause buttons are barely distinguished, the icons are tiny. I wish at least the middle button would be recessed (dipped in) - volume has only 6 steps. This means the jump between steps is almost twice bigger then any other adapters I know of. Using skullcandy headphones on minimum volume I can barely understand a person next to me talking, how loud that is. (to be fair it depends on music I'm listening and volume on the device it's being streamed from) - pointless and quiet annoying charging port cover (it would be justifiable if the device was waterproof, but it's not) - although the metal clip is very strong and device feels very secured when clipped, it would be nice have something like clothespin type clip, where you can press on one end to open it. But I take this anytime over the disaster nonsense clip on Sony Ericsson WM600 - when streaming audio from computer (using USB dongle) I've noticed that sound stutters when I touch SBH20 at certain places, especially when metal clip touches skin. No such issue when streaming from phone though. - no way of knowing the battery level when charging. - not possible to switch between paired devices withing SBH20 controls if already connected to one device and receiving audio. - switching between single to multipoint mode is not automatic and requires manual restart of the device. Bottom line: The device is worth every penny

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can it still be used while charging?**
A: It seems like it does but even if it's not only takes about 20 minutes to charge and it lasts a good 6-8 hours using it constantly(listening to music or videos) standby lasts alot longer. ..

**Q: Can it be used with a phone and an MP3 player at the same time, switching between the two?**
A: From manual:Use Multipoint technology to connect your headset to two Bluetooth™ devices at the same time. For example, if you connect your headset with two phones, you can receive calls from both phones without having to disconnect and reconnect. If you prefer that your headset connects to just one Bluetooth™ device at any given time, you can use Singlepoint mode instead. Before pairing your headset with a new device in Singlepoint mode, make sure that you disconnect it from other devices.Multipoint mode consumes more battery power than Singlepoint mode.To switch between Multipoint mode and Singlepoint mode1. Make sure that the headset is turned off.2. Put the headphones in your ears.3. To enter Multipoint mode, press and hold down the volume up key while turning on the headset. After Multipoint mode is activated, you will hear two beeps.4. To enter Singlepoint mode, press and hold down the volume down key while turning on the headset. After Singlepoint mode is activated, you will hear one beep.* In order to connect to both paired devices in Multipoint mode, you need to restart theheadset.

**Q: Does anyone know the length of the earbuds cord? I wondering if I will need to find a different set of earbuds, if I attach the headset to my waist.**
A: They're short. You will need different buds to put it on your waist.Works terrific clipped to the shirt.

**Q: how is the quality of call, microphone quality?**
A: The microphone is great, very sensitive. I have had conversations in loud environments and I can't hear that echo like on some headsets. It's small and light and works

*by P***D on July 25, 2014*

This is my first experience with this style of blue tooth. Usually I buy the type that just goes into one ear. After having used this model a few times I have found that I really like it. The ear buds and wires make it a little more cumbersome to carry around and to quickly place in your ears but once they are in place I really like how well I can hear the person on the other end. Everyone I have talked to so far has stated that I come through to them loud and clear even when there is other background noise around. In fact most say that they can hardly hear anything but me speaking which is a testament to the noise cancellation technology that this blue tooth unit has. I agree with other reviews that have been written stating that the ear buds are not of super high quality. I did not find this to be a big problem because they do sound okay. The nice thing is that you can use other brands of headphones that you find are of a higher quality. I have used Panasonic RPHJE120G in-ear headphones and they sound great! I just wish the blue tooth unit would have come with some type of protective case so that when not in use I could place them in my pockets without risking damage to the ear buds. One other thing I didn't like was the fact that when I speak I don't hear myself through the headphones so it sounds like I'm speaking through a pillow. Usually with other units you can hear yourself just like you hear the other person your speaking with. That said, the advantage to this design is that I don't get that echo feedback like I get from other units because the blue tooth itself does not hear what I hear through the ear buds. With other units the microphone will pick up what you're saying and echo it back to you. To be clear on this matter, what I am telling you is, if the person to whom you are speaking has a lesser quality blue tooth in their ear with a loud speaker on it, due to the close proximity of the speaker and the microphone into which they speak you will hear yourself echo as what you say gets fed back to you via their blue tooth. With this unit you don't get that; therefore, less complaints from those with whom you speak on the other end. I hope that made sense. Another comment about what I like about this unit. With the receiver being so small and light weight, I no longer feel like I will be breaking the wires of my headphones. As I like to run I used to connect my headphone into my phone and then put my phone in my pocket. The problem with this is as the phone bounces around in my pocket it would pull on and break the wires in my headphones rendering them worthless due to shorts. This unit allows me to keep my phone in my pocket while it communicates wirelessly to the blue tooth receiver which does not bounce around and break the wires to my headphones. I like this feature because I don't believe I will have to purchase as many replacement headphones as I have in the past. Awesome! The question is, would I recommend this blue tooth to others? The answer is, yes I would. Aside from its shortcomings, I really like how it performs!
