Maxtek 10.4 mm Standard Single Clear CD Jewel Case with Assembled Black Tray, 25 Pack

The CD cases are fairly sturdy...not as nice as the cases that came with the original CD's BUT they serve the purpose. Had an accident with leaky oil bottle that dripped down 3 shelves in cupboard and 14 CD's I had stored on the 2 shelves (I own @ 200) got damaged and a few were beyond hope. Sent for the set of blank cases. Work great and the CD's I had to replace completely (only 2) are just as secure as these new "empty" replacements. Of course, the labels etc. were lost but to save my CDs, great for the job. Came 25 in the set of blanks. I have a few left over but for the price, well satisfied with my purchase.

These jewel cases arrived fast and in perfect condition! I closely examined each one and found no flaws. Great for collection restoration! I’m going to use them for my Beatles 2009 remaster CDs. I just don’t like the cardboard sleeves they came in when I bought them new. I also have the 1987-88 releases. These are already in replacement jewel cases. I can use them to make custom sleeves by copying them and the 2009 cardboard for each disc. Only thing that won’t fit in these new cases is the thicker books that came with the 2009s. I’m also going to use them for other CDs that have scratched or cracked cases. Anyone else who still enjoys CDs, these new jewel cases will make your collection look like new again! I second the emotion that these are not made with as thick a plastic as the 1980s-2000s originals were, but does that really matter? I don’t think so. Just be careful with them. I’m probably going to buy some more of these when I need them for more restoration of my collection. I have a lot of CDs with damaged cases to be replaced. Edit: I’ve already ordered some more from the same seller. I’ve used the first set to replace some of those in my CD collection with the slightest flaw. I’m one of those who will never give up on physical media. I’m happy to be able to restore the look of my collection with these new jewel cases.

Nice quality jewel cases, well packed, and well priced!

These are well-above-average-quality CD jewel cases. Rock solid plastic. There are LOTS of teeth in the center and they really grip the CD very snugly (in other words not letting go of the CD to bounce around in the case). They arrived zero-damage in a very sturdy cardboard box intended for shipping as a single unit. One shortcoming is that a few of them had molding defects in the clear front or back parts of the case, cloudy spots or streaks (... in my first purchase; I purchased another 25 and I didn't see this issue at all). Another shortcoming is that in the front-facing black part there are blank rectangles where on old-school CD cases you would see the stylistically-fonted word "disc." (Some of the photos illustrate the blank rectangles.) We don't need the word, we get there's no need to pay any royalties to have the word … but then get rid of the blank rectangles in the mold, sir. I have now purchased this 25-pak twice ... and overall I was satisfied with product quality in both purchases. The 50-pak doesn't really cost that much more the 25-pack so, especially in hindsight, I wish I had gone with the 50-pak in the first place, even if I wasn't sure I would need them all.

These are the type of case I always buy. Just had to get them here.

Exactly what I needed. I have a collection of thrifted CD-ROM games that tend to come with damage and these brought new life to them. Like other people mentioned, the packaging is a little sparse, most of mine came intact, just two of them had tiny cracks in them. But nothing majorly broken.

Ordered these jewel cases for a project that I'm hoping to complete later this year. No issues-I don't see a single scratch or crack. They arrived earlier than expected with standard shipping. I've read some reviews that say they are flimsy or not as sturdy as old school jewel cases, but I don't see that. They seem plenty sturdy. I ordered the black tray variety. They don't have the "compact disc digital audio" logo (or whatever), it's a blank "box" there in the bottom left. But, that's really a non issue. They are exactly what I was hoping for. No issues whatsoever-would definitely, highly recommend. As a diy recording artist, I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. Even if nobody, beyond a handful of people that I know, ever holds a physical copy of an album that I wrote and recorded-I feel a need to make it official with something physical. That's what these jewel cases help provide-something to hold and to look at. It may take hours to format the artwork to fit into these things, but it's totally worth it. When you can hold a plastic case with a paper book and, whatever a cd is made of, it feels complete. If you need jewel cases, don't hesitate to order these.
