I love the art work! The plot so far is really interesting.The book came with a little mark on the front cover but overall everything else was amazing!

Great manga, really enjoyed the story. Took me a while of thinking of getting it before I actually did and I regret not getting it sooner.

Devoured by 13 yr old who loves these books.

I picked up this on Kindle after seeing some bits and pieces on Tumblr, and.. I don't want to drag the book down at all given it has a number of five star reviews and the creator is a talented artist, but - like a whole load of shonen manga these days - it is extremely derivative and akin to a number of existing series, most notably Blue Exorcist; the protagonist is even similar visually, has a similar salty-but-sweet attitude (even connecting with a cat), a gruff relationship with someone who is not their parent (and shares a connection with the organisation they will join) and so on. The only difference is that Blue Exorcist worked quickly to get you hooked and move things along; this feels rather slow - there's a surprisingly small number of chapters and it ends quite abruptly. This might sound negative, but it is a decent enough book with great art; the issue is that you may have seen this before - and likely better with, again - and I hate to sound like a broken record - Blue Exorcist being the prime example, and with more material readily available and more set to come, while Black Torch seems to be somewhat short-lived.

First of will say this is my kind of story and is amazing, however i am now stuck there is no English volume 2 anywhere ebay Amazon nothing which is extremely weird now i cant buy the others because wont no what happens in volume 2

Me animé a empezar en el manga, y muy contento con la compra. Llegó en buen estado y tanto trama, dibujo y traducción perfecto. Además a un precio de 3.80, impresionante! Lo malo que veo es que es muy corto y claramente por este precio no me quejo, pero veo que el resto tiene el mismo tamaño y ya son más caros, es mi impresion porque es mi primer manga pero supongo que vosotros ya estaréis acostumbrados

I thoroughly enjoyed this title. While the story is quite basic, you can tell there was a lot of love put into the series through the beautiful artwork and the artists commentary sprinkled throughout the publication. Definitely would recommend picking up at least the first volume!

100% worth the money full original manga and authentic art and quality. The quality of delivery was also good.
