Perfect replacement for the flimsy and fragile plastic spring system that Nikon provided with their branded one. These fit perfectly (both on the lens and my UV-C (static) and PL (rotatable) filters. Spares if needed and the straps fit nicely onto the lens (not too tightly). In addition, the lens strap fits nicely to the cap without creating a gap between the lens and cap. Three caps as well so hopefully will last me a good while before needing any further replacements!

Excellent value for money. Bought these as two of the lens I bought did not have the front cap so after check the thread size at the front, ordered the correct size and these arrive a few days later. Fits perfectly and serves their purpose very very well. The inclusion of a small lanyard hole and the elasticated lanyard to attach to the lens itself is fantastic. Order the right size!

Bought these to replace my genuine Nikon lens cover that broke after only a few fittings and removals. Three for the price seemed worth a try and I have been very pleased. They fit my 55mm kit lens on my Nikon D3500 perfectly. In fact they seem to fit more solidly than the Nikon one. As a bonus they came with loops to fit to the cover and an elasticated band to attach around the lens. Fitting the cord through the cover needs a bit of patience and good eyes, though they even provide a little tool to help and after the first one I soon got the knack. The lens cloth that comes with it is one of the best quality ones I have found. Overall highly recommended.

Prompt service, cap (haven't tried the other 2 yet) fits fine on my Nikon D3300 18-55mm kit lens. The keeper leash is tricky to get through the tiny hole but the elasticated loop is great for attaching to the lens itself. Like the fact the spares are in individual wrappers, great for keeping them clean but it would be better to have the keeper leashes in the wrappers too. Can't give an opinion on durability as only just got them but they seem sturdy enough and can't comment on the cloth as i haven't used it yet. Good value for the money.

A very handy lens cap that would be a very useful accessory for my Sony camera ...Unfortunately Sony lens cap has to be pocketed or held separately once you remove it. I have taken this camera on sailing, hiking on mountains and on ice. Twice I have lost my lens cap as the original sony lens cap slipped through my hands. The string with the elasticated band is a very useful feature with the wake lens cap and I was pleasantly surprised that for that price you get 3 lens caps ( one Sony lens cap will cost £17) with three ties as well as a cleaning cloth. Another useful tool that is supplied is the pin to thread the string through the holes in the lens cap. The steps are shown on the product box which is quite good and the actual process of threading is quite simple. The supplied pin is adequate and one does not need a sharp pen or pencil as mentioned in the steps. Also as is not shown in the steps I make a knot once he string us through the two holes of the lens cap and pass the elasticated band over the body of my lens. The elasticated band is useful as it can stretch depending on the lengthen of the lens Overall a very recommended accessory and I can simply take the lens cap off without fear of it dropping from my hands

A little bit flimsy to attach the cord but works

This was a very good product and good value for money. It fitted my camera perfectly, did the job and what is more it can be attached to the strap, so no problem about losing it in the future, plus there is a spare one too, together with a lens cloth. I purchased these to replace a missing lens cap on a Nikon Nikkor 18-70 mm lens. I am very happy with these lens caps. The spring in the pinch apparatus has just the right amount of tension. Not difficult to pinch, but enough outward force to keep the cap firmly in place. The caps easily slot into place and provide good coverage. Many reviews discuss difficulty in attaching the tether to the cap. Maybe they've changed the design since those reviews were written, but I had very little difficulty. In fact, I was able to attach the tether in under a minute (and would have been quicker if I had used more light). Looking at the other reviews, I think that they were using the helper tool incorrectly. Many of the reviews stated that the tool was too big to fit into the hole in the top of the cap, but that's not where it's supposed to be used. The tool (essentially the same as the tools used to open the sim card drawer on a cell phone) is meant to be used for retrieving the end of the tether from the side of the cap, not for pushing the tether into the hole on top of the cap The tether, which is a loop, attaches by being inserted into a small hole in the top of the cap, and then pulling the inserted end out an opening in the side of the cap (you then pass the part of the tether that goes around the lens through the end of the loop retrieved from the side of the cap). I folded the thin string loop at the top of the loop (basically, pinched the loop to make it narrower), and easily inserted the loop into the hole in the top of the cap. When this is done, you can see the loop hanging down in the slot on the side of cap. Then I used the tool to get behind the loop and pull it out of the hole. In this regard, it might be better if the tool had a little hook on the end, rather then just being straight. Either way, it was pretty easy to fish out the loop. As I said, I am very happy with these caps, and would recommend them to others.

Mein originaler Sony Objektivdeckel Ø 55 mm ist heruntergefallen und die Plastikfedern waren sofort gebrochen. Kein Wunder bei dieser filigranen Konstruktion. Für den Originalpreis von Sony 1 Stück, habe ich nun 3 Stück von "Waka" erhalten. Die Qualität der Deckel sieht super aus und scheint wesentlich stabiler zu sein. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich jetzt noch nichts sagen. Er sitzt perfekt und fest auf meinen Objektiv. Ein Putztuch sowie je ein Halteband mit Einfädelhilfe war auch dabei. Kann ich nur weiter empfelen.
