Having kept indoor cats for many years, I finally found a cat litter thats utterly brilliant BUT it tracks horrifically. I bought this mat not expecting it to do much, but it catches a surprising amount, and because its double, the litter can be tipped back in the tray.

The honeycomb 1 is perfect. But, the other has very small holes and not catching the litter, so still cleaning a lot ofitter around this 1. What I don't understand is I ordered them the same time from same company.

I knew someone with one of these and from the pictures in the instructions it looked to be the same type and quality. However it did not have the same hexagon holes or the soft spongy backing under the velcro, as a waterproof barrier. The pictures depicted in the instructions were not showing this model at all. This is a thinner type of fabric with a waterproof backing. Also it only has velcro at 1 of the smaller ends (rather than also along the side) which aids emptying litter out, but not as easy for full cleaning of any accidents or just general cleaning. It does the job but was not as expected.

Works well only a bit if a pain getting crystal type cat litter out of the webbing on that covers the top of the map. Otherwise it’s worked well. Fit for purpose.

It certainly does the job of trapping cat litter! Whilst there's still some litter on the floor, it is greatly reduced thanks to the mat. Much recommended.

So far my cats haven’t ripped this to pieces like they did with all the newspaper I was using before! It collects all excess litter and doesn’t leave any mess!

It is ok as a mat, pretty soft for the paws. The holes are too small for the very chunky litter I use (Oko, Greenwood wood chips type) but it works as a mat. The thing that I really disliked is how strong the smell of the mat was when I took it out of its packaging and I had to leave it outside the house to degaz for a few days as it was really stinky at first. I guess that is the case with most cheaply made plastics nowadays but nonetheless it cannot be good for human or animal health.
