Morley PDW-II Distortion/Wah/Volume Combo Pedal

Hard to fine fault with the pedal. Works well as a volume pedal and a nice wah. The distortion has settings for gain and tone, but don't expect metal level of distortion (sounds more like a boost). Very solid, doesn't slip around on the floor, and the pedal has a nice arc and stays where you set it.

This pedal gives me what I'm looking for 100%! Sure the distortion isn't the crunchiest, balls-iest thing out there, but it's pretty sweet. It sounds like a classic 70s/80s overdrive. The volume pedal makes controlling levels a breeze, on the fly. No working your pinky around the volume knob on your guitar necessary. The wah comes on with one flick of a switch and gives me all the 'wokka-wokka' I need for my funky sets. This pedal is great and versatile. It's a stone-cold steal. I highly recommend.

I just got this pedal for my birthday and I'm really loving it...the wah has that classic 60's 70's sound plus the distortion effect is pretty cool too though not overpowering but I like it. It also works as a volume pedal! go get it! :)

I dont have a point of comparison i played the crybaby wah years ago but too long ago to remember. This wah is pretty good as far as i can tell. The distortion part is unusable i find it fuzzy and horrible sounding. Volume control works just fine and the wah itself is good.

It is tough, it works, and it looks good. My three stars come from two design flaws (at least in my opinion). First, the wah's attack seems uneven, like it comes on much too fast at around 2/3 full. It makes it hard to work with, as the sweet spot is too extreme. Second, there's no way to switch the volume function on and off, which bothers me. I am afraid it will get bumped or moved by a cable mid concert, when I barely eve use that function. If these are not concerns for you, then this could well be a five star pedal.

Works as well as my '70's Morley, with the added benefit of running from the power supply on my Pedaltrain. The vintage one I have requires its own AC connection.

Wah and distortion sounds generic and analog.spend a few extra $$ and get morley steve vai bad horsie2 or Ibanez weeping demon

It has nothing ot do with the sound of the distortion or the wah effect...Its the Optical sensor...Its OK for a beginner but as you develop your playing style you notice it has very LITTLE control over your volume. For example: There is a sooth lowering of the volume untill you at aroud 75 percent of the angle on the pedal (so at the range of movement youve used %75) the signal just cuts out...this has to do with the optical sensor...i was told it could be a bad sensor but after replacing it i had the same issue. The distortion is at best Decent for a guitar, but useless for a bass (i used it as a boost) the wah was nothing compared to any mainstream wah (Dunlop) or for that matter even an auto wah (Boss/DigiTech)... In my opinion spend a little more and get a volume pedal, a wah and distortion... Keep makin em Morley...Im sure someone will keep buyin em

Solide Verarbeitung, was anderes kennt man ja nicht von morley , Distortion ist meines Erachtens nicht gut ! Wah ist erste Sahne , und Volume braucht man viel Gefühl weil das Pedal sehr empfindlich ist. Einstellen kann man es super .... Einziger Makel ist , dass kein Netzteil dabei ist ... aber das kommt ja oft bei Effekt Pedalen vor ... also von daher ... wegen dem Sound 4 Sterne es sind kleine Störgeräusche im Verstärker zu hören , jedoch besser als bei dem CryBaby Pedal. Also Kaufempfehlung bis auf die Matschige Distortion... wer noch Fragen hat .. kann sie mir gerne als Kommentar stellen. Mit dem Pedal kann man sehr viel Spaß haben! :)

Haven't tested it yet (it's a Christmas present for someone) but it was a good price, and arrived in quick time. Couldn't have asked for more.
