Diablo

This game has stood the test of time. The gameplay is excellent and addicting. The graphics are still wonderfully immersive and the sound quality is still very crisp. Multiplayer still works as well! Just need to update to version 1.09 and connect to the Battlenet servers. It's still very replayable. I've found that going through different classes, there's other quests that weren't available before but were on other playthroughs. The lore is excellent, definitely read the manual before starting!Definitely add me on Steam if you need a coop partner, because it's extremely hard to find a server. There's several third party server apps like GameRanger, Kali, and Tunngle, but I've had no luck there yet. So yeah, would love to test the multiplayer and write a more thorough review on it. Well to start with it's just a CD, no box, no instructions, nothingI guess it's a nice collector piece!UPDATE 3/4/2020:My PC died and I had to buy a new one, which mean I had to re-install this, the CD is unreadable now.I put the CD and nothing happens, the drive spins but nothing shows up in the explorer.

Very clean copy of a classic game.

This was an excellent game. Having played the Diablo 2 I decided to play the first one to get a good round feeling for the franchise before the third one comes out. I am happy to say that this game did not disappoint me in any way. From top to bottom this game was 5 stars. Addicting game play, challenging bosses, awesome weapons, good story, and some of the best music I have ever heard in a game. Recommend to anyone who loves old school games and would like a taste of the past.

Man I love Diablo. When my granddaughter lost the cd I was ticked. I got another copy and now from time to time I just sit back and kill off some hours and characters getting lost in the dungeons again. I can't remember how many times I have beaten the game or it has beaten me, but it is fun to try something new and see how a new character stacks up against the old ones. Playability of the newer games just doesn't stack up in my opinion. But that's me. I want games that make me think, and always I want games that can be played again and again to see if you can beat your own scores. Diablo is fun to drag out from time to time and try again.

Unfortunately, Diablo is a game that has been relegated to the archives of history. Diablo will only work on an operating system that is no longer supported by its manufacturer. I am running Windows 7, Professional, and I was almost attacked by my computer when I tried to load this game. I can remember when Diablo was state-of-the-art and was tremendous fun, but it's just a memory, now.

This game was a disappointment, after reading reviews online I decided to try it. I purchased used game, when I played it it would only go to level 2 because it was some kind of shareware. I contact Amazon and I received a refund, yay Amazon.I might purchase a used game again and hope it is not shareware.

This came in great condition and works on my Windows after some fine tuning needed to be done. For one, you need you to definitely get the updated drivers from Blizzard and run the game under old compatibility (Win7 - Professional). After that, the game works and didn't crash once. It brings back good memories.
