We don't recommend using it to connect speakers directly. The cable can only handle around 50W power. It may not be enough. **Q: I have 2 pair of "active" or amplified speakers. I have a digital audio interface with line level balanced outs. Will this unit support this setup?** A: Yes. I’m running Uaudio x8p analogue out to Nobsound 1 in 3 out to power 2 pairs Genelec active monitors.
