I purchased this instructional tool for my grandson. He absolutely loves it. He wanted me to relay that the best thing about the globe is that it glows in the dark and the words light up that would not be seen in regular light. He also likes the instructional cards that accompany the globe, which help him identify specific places. I can't offer any additional insight since I haven't actually seen the globe myself, but he assures me that it would be a good gift for any child his age (8).

This spinning globe with illuminated constellations is very well made. Its size is perfect for a middle-grader's desk, and its vivid colors are bright and lovely. My son appreciates the geography cards: each has the country flag on its backside.This beautiful globe is an excellent educational learning tool for any child who wants to learn the geography of the world and is curious about the constellations above each continent and country.I highly recommend it.

My grandson loves this globe. He is going to be in a geography bowl so this was a perfect gift for him. The light makes it really neat. Getting the constellations was a bonus.

This globe is better than most maps, I think. The illumination does work, but is best viewed in a dark room, since the light is not very bright.

I have a 8 and a 5 years old and was looking for a Globe to really help them learning about the world in all aspects. I wanted something simple but with quality, and easy to use!FOUND IT AND MORE!!!We just received the globe 2 days ago and my kids are around it as if it was a Santa toy!!! They love it and we have been playing and learning so much!The deck of cards that comes with is awesome and allows us to explore even more!I just wish we could buy more countries cards and updated decks later on because it is truly a great addition.The globe is not that big and for me it is a perfect size, it is easy to read, to play and the night light gives extra fun and learning opportunity! We cant wait to go check some os the constellations on our telescope too!definetely recommend it!

Beautiful globe! Not sure what quality I was expecting, but this globe impressed me. It’s sturdy, heavy duty and beautiful. Kids love it, and added bonus is the night view. The card “game” is interesting for me, but lost on my kids, they had fun guessing the country of the flags, but didn’t last long. Either way, great way to educate them, and get them interested in learning more geography.

This glob isn't a free spin. You have to use more force than a regular glob but light at night is cool
