I’ve had this running for around a year and it hasn’t broken, I originally bought it for vr to have my full body work because my computer didn’t have enough ports but I use it for my mouse and keyboard as an extension cord basically and it works really well, I almost forget I have it it charges my mouse just as fast as my computer too.

Works perfect. Exactly what I needed for my 2.0 tracker dongles. Allowed more USB slots and easy use of unplugging/ moving the dongles if I needed

I've been using these for just about a year and a half and they've worked pretty well! I will say about 8 months into using this however, one side of the ports stopped working as well. I would have to jiggle the usb around for it to start working again until it fully stopped. Now a year and a half in only one usb port works. Overall, good product. It's good for a temporary set-up. I definitely wouldn't buy as a permanent one.

I use this for my vive VR trackers and it works great as a hub to save me more space on my PC's IO, cord length made it perfect for running up to my desk and mounting there.

I picked up three of these to use for 9 x Vive VR dongles. I've been trying to use 11 point tracking in VRChat and I've had a lot of problems with trackers disconnecting or the connection being unreliable. I've tried different motherboards, different PCIe expansion cards and several different usb hubs. I picked these up as they are specifically listed for VR use. Unfortunately, I could only use about two dongles per hub, as soon as I tried to add a third the connections would get flakey again. With them being listed specifically for VR, I hoped they would have had usb chipsets that could handle Multiple Transaction Translators (MTT) which is needed when using multiple Vive dongles. Unfortunately, the chipset in this device uses a Single Transaction Translator (STT). They work okay if you only want to have two dongles and two charging cables off the hub, but they cannot handle three or four dongles. If you want an actual VR dongle hub it needs to use an MTT capable chipset unfortunately.

I should add a disclaimer that what I use it for may not be the intended purpose. My computer's available USB slots are pretty much all taken up, and so when I acquired fullbody tracking for my VR equipment, I needed a few more slots to plug in the dongles for the trackers. Ideally these dongles would go directly into my computer, but more important things settled there, so this has been the go-to. As a relatively cheaper USB hub, it struggles to offer a higher quality connection to my computer, and I find my trackers being a bit delayed or losing stability sometimes. This would be good for thumb drives or temporary connections to your computer, I wouldn't recommend it for long-term connections.
