Very Well Made
Bought the 8x3 inch pan. I have half a dozen spring form pans. The Fat Daddio is the bomb. Heavy duty and very well made. Puts the others to shame. Iโve churned out 3 cheese cakes already and no issues. Some folks say it leaks. If so, they either placed the ring on upside down (itโs marked Top and Bottom) or they used too thin a batter. Spring form pans are not โwaterโ tight. I really like the pan lip for moving/picking up the FD. Itโs now a single hand operation. Another nice thing is you can tear a sheet of parchment paper off the roll, lay it down on the pan and place the ring right over it and it seals just fine. My other pans, I had to cut a round of parchment or it would tear when clamping the ring. If I had to list a conโฆit would be that the rivets heads on the inside of the ring (that attach the spring clip) are not flush and leave two dimples on the side of the cheese cake. I had to stretch for that con. Last, and nothing to do with the pan, it was shipped in a non-padded paper envelope. I expected damage to the pan when I opened the envelope but happily had none. Whomever is shipping these should rethink the packaging to avoid disappointed customers. If the rest of Fat Daddioโs products are made to the same heavy duty qualityโฆIโll be buying more in short order.

Excellent Springform Pan for Deep Cheesecakes
I bought this Fat Daddioโs 8x3 inch springform pan to make deep cheesecakes, and it works perfectly. The tall sides give me that professional bakery look, and the build quality is outstanding. โ Pros: โ 3-inch depth is perfect for tall cheesecakes and specialty cakes โ Anodized aluminum heats evenly for consistent baking โ Springform latch is sturdy and releases cleanly โ No warping or leaks during baking โ Professional-grade quality that feels built to last โ Cons: โ None so farโworks exactly as intended ๐ก Tips: โ Line the bottom with parchment for easier cake removal โ Use a water bath for cheesecakes to prevent cracking โ Perfect for layered desserts, deep tortes, and ice cream cakes ๐ง Bottom Line: If youโre serious about making tall, beautiful cheesecakes, this Fat Daddioโs springform pan is the way to go. Solid, dependable, and bakes like a dreamโhighly recommended!

Perfect springform pan!
Great pan. Worked nicely for my cheesecakes. Only thing I couldnโt figure out was the caution on the tag to be sure and line up the arrows. Theyโre already lined up! Anyway, I had no leaks, and I really like this pan. Definitely recommend.

Wow! Nice!
It looks great. I saw a review that said it was hard to tell the top edge from the bottom, and the one I got had "Top" and "Bottom etched into the side with arrows. I have to assume the company has taken reviews to heart and made that change. It really looks nice. I have other springform pans, but I really appreciate how the base where your dish sits is raised. I still need to use it, but looking forward to it. It's just looks so professional and well made.

BEST SPRINGFORM BUT BE CREATIVE FOR CHEESECAKE BAIN-MARIE
A wonderful springform for Cheesecake but worst leaking of any. Just try putting it into a pan of water and see the water pour into the mold. So, following online suggestions for a bain-marie, I wrapped the pan in aluminum foil but it was not tight enough and some water came through. Finally, I settled on overkill: first putting the cake pan into a turkey bag and then covering the bag with a really tight aluminum foil wrap. It worked perfectly!

Great pan
I used this to make a Brooklyn style cheesecake yesterday. It turned out wonderful. It washed up very easily afterwards. I'm very happy that I got it. Nice pan!

Fat Daddio's to the rescue!
What a great springform pan! I will make a long story short. This purchase was a replacement for a replacement that was just horrible. I needed a replacement in a hurry. The first springform I purchased was from Michaels and was made by Wilton. I used it and it was awful, flimsy, bent easily, and there was nothing you could call a seal around the bottom. There were gaps so big that you could've stuck a wooden skewer though. I was horribly upset that I had spent as much as I did on it. Enter Fat Daddio's! I have a few other Fat Daddio's cake pans and thought, I should see if they have a springform pan. For the same price as the horrible one, I got a Fat Daddio's pan that is of amazing quality. The anodized aluminum is sturdy, the clip is sturdy, and the best part is the bottom of the pan. It is like a pedestal. Where the cake sits is raised up and the form fits down around it. The base also has a sort of tray at the bottom which is great for saving your oven as it catches anything that tries to seep out the bottom (like butter). The pedestal makes it very easy to slide your baked good off onto a serving tray. It does not have an airtight seal around the bottom, but it does have a very good seal. If you are planning to make a cheesecake in a water bath, you will still need to double wrap the pan in foil before setting it in the water bath. The anodized aluminum makes the perfect crust on whatever you bake. I am very pleased with this purchase. Fat Daddio's makes very good quality pans at a fair price. I will continue purchasing this brand.

Would have been perfect if it was leakproof. Not advertised as such but I was hoping it was.

The product is deformed when received and there is a gap when close tight. I am not sure whether can request for refund/ replace.... but the quality is solid.

I wanted a small springform pan to make a cheesecake to take to a friend's dinner for 4. I found a Daddio's springform on a website, but it was too large. Then I found this 6" one on Amazon. My cheesecake was the perfect size in this pan. It would have served 6 to 8 people. I read a few reviews of people claiming it is only good for a cheesecake, that cakes you bake run through the bottom. I tested my pan with water and sure enough the water ran through. So, I decided to bake a chocolate cake mix and try something. I prepared my mix, preheated my oven to 350F. Then I used a smaller 1" long X 1/2" wide spatula and picked up a small amount of cake mix on it, which I then spread along the seams of the pan. I did it all around the pan seams. Then I put my cake pan in the oven for 2 minutes. I removed the cake pan, did not wait for it to cool, and I poured the remainder (98%) of my cake mix into the springform pan. I put the pan in the oven. The cake mix did not leak out and a perfect cake was baked. See pictures. :-) The first 2 pictures is showing the pan upside down. It shows where the cake mix seeped down a bit, but cooked in the oven, thus creating the seal I wanted. You can see the bottom of the pan, and where the cake mix seeped down the sides and baked on quickly to seal. A perfect small cake was baked! I only poured half the cake mix in the pan, the remainder made 8 muffins. Updating my review today (same day) as I noticed after one wash, rust has formed around one of the fasteners, if that's the correct term. See picture.
