Rode SC1 TRRS Extension Cable For SmartLav+ Microphone, 20 Feet

This item is very good for if you are using an iOS or Android item to record audio. This cord is a must if you are planning on trying to record from a shotgun mic into a mobile device. The TRRS instead of TRS is an additional line that is picked up by the mobile device so it doesn't automatically stay recording to the internal mic on the mobile device. I use this with my Rode Mocro Boom Pole, Rode MicroMe Mic, the Apogee (Maestro) App along with an iPod touch, or iPhone 6s+ when I need to do on the fly recording.

Been using this for several years now and it's as good as new. Excellent quality.

I use this to record from the SmartLav+ into a Zoom H1via the Rode SC3 3.5mm TRRS to TRS adapter. I'll sync up the audio with the scratch audio from my camera. During shoots I can monitor the levels on the Zoom (with the extended length), I don't have to worry about talent wearing dresses (with no pockets), and the connections between all three devices are strong. I don't worry about a connection coming loose. No quality loss. More than long enough for me. Great product. I only wish it came with one of Rodes draw string bags. This is a lot of cable to try to keep from getting knotted.

I needed the extra cord length and this one has plenty. Easy to connect, and the sound quality for this system is impressive for the price.

A godsend for my RØDE lav mic. Works well connecting to my GH5 for interviews. This is well made, but as thin as it is, it will tangle easily unless you wind it up carefully when storing. Better yet, wrap it around a a spool or dowel.

Unfortunately I didn’t test it quick enough and passed the return period, it’s not working, probably broken as it’s so thin and flimsy. If it really works it’d be great and light weight. Now I just stick to a few thicker 1m TRRS extensions chained together, and I’m happy and flexible anyway. More important, way cheaper but same sound quality!

Worked great for me. I bought this because I was piecing together a "Rode Podcast Interviewer Kit" that I saw online but not for sale any longer. This extension cable allows me to sit a comfortable distance from my interviewee rather than the two of us sitting 4 feet apart from each other near my iPhone.

ho acquistato questa prolunga per il microfono di RODE "smartlav+" perché spesso mi capita di portare video sul mio canale YouTube con il mio iPhone abbastanza lontano da me e per risolvere questo problema ho acquistato questa prolunga, io collego la prolunga al microfono e poi vado ad inserirla nel jack di iPhone è molto comoda anche se nei video non si può fare a meno di notarla ma dato che è lunga ben 6 metri ( come scritto nella scatola) si può sempre nascondere in qualche modo. Ho dato ben 5 stelle perché secondo il mio parere se le merita tutte perché dato anche gli ottimi prodotti di rode questo non rovina/ influisce sulla qualità dell'audio registrata dal microfono, come ho scritto prima mi ha colpito la sua lunghezza che riesco ad utilizzare il mio microfono anche da distanza. Pero come per il microfono speravo ci fosse una piccolo sacchettino dove poterla riporre in caso di inutilizzo. It is made for the røde smartlav trrs lavalier mic. I can confirm it does not work with the trrs connector of the røde videomic ntg. Very odd…

El cable está delgado y hay que tener cuidado de no jalarlo para evitar que se rompa, pero tiene buena fidelidad y el largo del cable facilita el uso y no pierde calidad de sonido…
