You put your original passcode in then find the hidden button and push it in (May need a paper clip or possibly a pen for the reset button). Then once it’s pushed In type your new password in and hit the unlatch/unlock button and BAM it’s changed! No need for zeros apparently… Hope this helps because it took me a long time to figure this out!
