Great tasting water
Great water quality the filters work well and the water taste improves to a bottled water taste except without all the plastic aftertaste. We were tired of buying bottled water this thing was easy to install tucked away in the corner under the sink instructions were great. Took me about half an hour to install and 15 minutes was the drilling of the hole. If you already have a hole on your sink it’s super easy and fast to install. Just make sure to push the lines all the way in to prevent any leaks. Overall very happy with the outcome glad we got this RO system. Yes the filters are a bit on the expensive side but it’s worth it for the health benefits and not having to carry bottled water that’s priceless.

Waterdrop - Excelkent Reverse osmosis products and great customer service
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Product and Outstanding Customer Service I purchased the Waterdrop G3P800 and have been very pleased with the quality of the water it produces. It provides exceptionally clean, great-tasting water while using significantly less wastewater than many other reverse osmosis systems I have considered. Overall, I have been very happy with the product. Unfortunately, after replacing the RO filter, I experienced an issue where the wastewater pump continued running and the unit would not function properly. I contacted Waterdrop customer service, and I was fortunate to work with Doreen. Doreen provided truly exceptional customer service. She patiently worked with me through the troubleshooting process, including various power resets, on/off procedures, and faucet adjustments. When those steps did not resolve the problem, she stayed in contact with me throughout the entire replacement process. What impressed me most was how thoroughly and professionally she handled everything. Doreen explained the replacement procedure, kept me informed about shipment timing, followed up to make sure I received the replacement unit, and provided the necessary instructions for setting it up. She even made sure I understood the next steps after receiving the new unit. The replacement process was remarkably easy, and the cost to me was minimal. The replacement unit also came with three new filters, which was an added benefit. Doreen was consistently courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, responsive, and informative throughout the entire experience. She took ownership of the problem and stayed involved until everything was resolved. That level of customer service is unfortunately rare these days and deserves recognition. I would highly recommend the Waterdrop G3P800, not only because it produces exceptionally clean water with very little wastewater, but also because Waterdrop stands behind its product and has representatives like Doreen who genuinely care about their customers. Excellent product, excellent support, and exceptional customer service from Doreen. Five stars without hesitation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great tasting water at your fingertips.
I finally got tired of going down to the local water station and filling up 5 gallon water jugs and broke down and bought a water filtration system for under the cabinet. I will admit, I had a little trepidation because I don’t generally like dealing with plumbing, but the installation for this system was extremely easy, and the instructions are very accurate and easy to follow. This WATERDROP unit fit very nicely under our kitchen sink. I even added a small water pressure tank as well as a mineralization filter and it didn’t take up half the space under our sink. Some things to consider when installing the system on your own or any system for that matter. You’ll need to know where your main water shut off is or at least have the ability to shut the cold water off under your sink because you will be tying into the cold water line under your sink. You’ll need an electrical outlet to plug the unit into, and you should be able to use the same one your dishwasher uses providing you have a dishwasher or garbage disposal. And a basic knowledge of plumbing will help as well but not necessary because the instructions are so easy to follow. All in all, it took me about three hours to get this installed mainly because I had to go down to the store and buy another fitting to hook up the refrigerator. We’ve had ours installed for about a month and a half to two months now and I enjoy being able to get freshwater right next to the tap at the sink. The water taste great and the filtering system seems to work very well on this unit. One thing to keep in mind, the water does not flow as fast as a regular sink faucet flows so be prepared that it takes a little bit longer to fill a glass of water up or a pitcher for example. If you think this will be a problem for you do some research and get a unit that has a faster water output. This particular unit has the digital display on the front, which will tell you when your filters need to be replaced. The manual says the filters have to be replaced every 6 to 12 months depending on the filter, but that could be different in your area based on how hard or soft your water is. As you can see from the picture below, the unit itself fits nicely underneath the sink, but all of the 1/4 inch tubing does look messy and I still need to get in there and try to make it a little neater. The tubing is somewhat rigid, so it doesn’t just lay on the bottom of your cabinet and kind of goes where it wants to go, so you may have to come up with a way to hook it to the wall or gently zip tie them together to make it a little neater. Also, it may seem like all of those plastic connectors wouldn’t work well or might fail, but honestly, once you push the tubing into those connectors, I’ve had no leaks whatsoever. Everything is nice and tight and secure. Plus it has the little blue locking rings that you put around the end of each connector to hold the tubing inside them so don’t be worried about that. All in all this is an excellent purchase and I’m really glad we got it. Having clean tasting water right from the faucet or the refrigerator is so much better than filling up ten 5 gallon water jugs twice a month. Don’t let this project seem overwhelming to you, with a few tools and the ability to read the instructions you’ll have it installed in no time.

Compact, easy installation & maintenance
Excellent system that is easy to maintain. A friend works for a company that tests products and this is what he recommended. Changing filters is very simple. We purchased the alkaline filter because, we normally don't like taste of reverse osmosis water. This tastes very good. Previously using a high carbon under the counter filter but when microplastics started showing up in the tea kettle, we knew it was time to upgrade. This was the best value for a system that removes small particles and microplastics.

Works very well but is not necessarily quiet (read update)
This is a substantial improvement over our older style, 5 stage RO system with a tank. It was fairly simple to install needing only a few adapters to fit my particular setup. I connected it to my refrigerator as well and eliminated the refrigerator water filter (replacing that filter with a dummy plug; depends on the model). The quality of the water is great as is the taste which is the whole purpose for having it. There are 2 digital displays; one on the faucet and one on the unit itself. The displays show the quality of the water (TDS) and the filter status. Maintenance will be considerably easier since it does not require removing the system from under the sink to replace cartridges. The system will warn you when a cartridge needs to be replaced; when that occurs you simply twist and pull the cartridge to remove it as needed without having to disconnect the water supply. There are a couple of things to consider. The filters are expensive. They do not have to be replaced often, but they are pricey. The system is noisy. While there is no tank there is a pump that pushes the water through the system as you use it. The pump is noisy - not obnoxiously noisy but you will hear it. In my case there was barely enough space between the disposer and the cabinet wall to place the unit so it vibrates against the cabinet, thus amplifying the noise. The instructions warn you to keep it away from the cabinet walls, so measure carefully. The system also runs for short periods to clean itself - you will hear the noise then as well. Overall, this is a good choice. It works well - the water is clean, clear and tastes great. It uses considerably less water to "clean" the system and maintenance should be much easier than other choices. Just be aware of the pump noise! An update in Jun 2026 concerning the noise: I began to notice an issue with my shut-off valve feeding both the Water Drop and sink faucet necessitating a replacement of the valve. Once I removed the valve I could see the port to the Water Drop was partially blocked. After installing a new valve the Water Drop became much quieter and was actually working much better. I am theorizing that the pump was having to work harder than necessary because the water flow was too low, thus extra noise. There is still noise associated with the Water Drop but it is considerably quieter. My recommendation for installing a new system is to insure that your shut-off valve is allowing plenty of water to flow before connecting the unit.

Super clean zombie water
3 or more hours to connect, not including 30 minutes of running tap water through it. Difficult to hook up by yourself, had to run a new power line. The clean water line T-adapter leaked at first but we got it tighter and fixed that. The saddle waste-water line leaked at the sink pipe it just kept dripping when running the unit. We had no choice but to run it on a horizontal pipe and fixed leak by pushing in a lot more red line, they say .5 inches we pushed in about 6 inches. Connecting the hoses is tricky because they were too long and are very rigid. So cutting them to fit is challenging, but the seals held and no leaks. The silver/chrome faucet install was also tricky but we eventually got it tight and also added on a tempered screen shield onto the display. The G3P600 TDS reading was 2, the handheld tester we own gave 5 or 6. But the original tap water was 178 !!! So coming down to 5 is amazing and the unit is working. Normal distilled water measured as a 2 on our handheld. So each measuring device deviates based on water temperature etc. The water tastes equal to, or better than any bottled water we have. Filled 2 cups in 12.40 seconds. Unit is not loud, its a low hum. One note is that our 3 filters came pre-installed in the unit which seemed odd. While running the water for 30 minutes to initialize the unit make sure to take this opportunity and look for leaks.

DO NOT BUY the ispring. BUY THIS!
I bought the ispring 6 years ago because it was $200 and I was looking for my first RO system. It worked well, but replacing filters was a MASSIVE pain in the ass. An hour or so every six months of taking everything out from under my sink, lugging the awkward 20+ lb thing out, trying to wrench off the houses that are now super tight, spilling water all over my self, doing the arduous flushing process, and putting it all back. I moved to a new place several months ago and have been procrastinating reinstalling the iSpring becuase of how much of a PITA it is. Eventually I had a free weekend so decided to do spend the few hours to do a full cleaning of it, replace all the filters, get it set up and installed, get mad about getting wet/cursing under my breath how this stuff thing wont come off... only the find that it somehow had a leak in the waste water flow restrictor... I was done!!! I asked Claude if there are any RO systems that aren't such a pain in the ass. It told me about the G3P600 and how changes filters takes minutes at most. I watched a few youtube videos and found that this is one of the top rated RO systems out there. I pulled the trigger and amazon delivered it SAME DAY. The whole install was a breeze. Everything took less time than changing the filters on the iSpring, probably 30 minutes, and I still spill a drop. Do note that I did NOT use the drain saddle, as replacing the piece with the hole in it when i moved out my last place was a PITA. instead bought the "Watts Premier Universal Drain Line to Garbage Disposal Adapter RO Kit" and the "John Guest Speedfit 3/8 Inch OD x 1/4 Inch OD Reducer, Push to Connect Plastic Plumbing Fitting, PP061208WP" recommended by another reviewer which took 5 min to do and does not cause any damage to the plumbing. It is a bummer that it doesn't include remineralization but I bought that separately and added it a day later, and then bought and installed the "Waterdrop XT Small Water Pressure Tank, Fits 𝟑/𝟖" Water Tubing" so I could connect it to the fridge the day after (the latter of which was pretty annoying to install but thankfully should require zero maintenance). Overall I am super happy with my purchase and very much looking forward to the 2 minute filter replacement in 6 months. If you are considering the iSpring vs this know while this does have a higher upfront cost, the annual filter cost is lower, and the time and pain savings of filter replacement (not to mention the built in TDS meter and filter replacement notifcations) are ABSOLUTELY worth it. Pay extra and get this thing. you won't regret it!

Went from 358 TDS to 1. Best RO system I have owned
Our City water is TERRIBLE. It is processed well water with some saltwater intrusion. Our water tests 358 TDS with the numbers flashing in red on my test unit. The taste is horrible. I have had average RO systems that normally become out dated with filters being hard to find as was my last RO system. The filters are now foreign knockoffs that sometimes don't even flow as was my last set. Not to mention the TDS are much higher with knockoff filters. That was the second time having problems with filter orders. I sent this set back, removed the entire RO system and went on the search for the best home RO system. All of the review sites I looked at, Waterdrop was #1. Yes, it was almost double the prices, but I have learned over the years, when it come to RO systems, "you get what you pay for". The Waterdrop was much easier than any RO system I have installed with better instructions. I no longer have a mess under the sink when changing filter, a HUGE plus. I no longer have to remove everything under the sink to get to the filters. just twist and replace from the front of the unit. No more guessing when it is time to change filters, or constantly having to test the water. No more guess which filter needs to be changed, not sure so, I'll buy both. The Waterdrop states what filter needs to be changed, no more guessing. Getting rid of the huge tank was another big plus. No more waiting for the tank to refill when filling the coffee pot. With the Waterdrop built in pump, the same flow constantly. The waste ratio on my last RO system was 4 gallons of waste water to one gallon drinkable. Now I am at a 1 to 1 ratio. Our water bills are triple of what the use to be, so another savings. My water went from 358 TDS to 1 on the first couple of day. On day 3, I have moved up to 2 TDS and the water tastes better than any RO system I have ever owned. I also installed a sediment filter before the Waterdrop. A $4. sediment filter is much cheaper than changing the more expensive RO sediment filter. Our City water has a lot of sediment so a pre-filter is a good investment. I just purchased 6 sediment filters for the price of 1 Waterdrop sediment filter. That should extend the life of the Waterdrop filter. The Waterdrop is an investment I should have made years ago. With the cabinet doors close, I don't even notice the pump noise others have mentioned. Our bottle water cooler, that we will be getting rid of, can be heard more than the Waterdrop.

Water tastes great
We were torn between buying a cheaper RO system with a tank, and this on demand model. I'm so glad we opted for the Waterdrop. The install was as easy as the instructions/instructional video, except we had to modify our counter a bit. When they installed our marble countertop, they put a 3/4" layer of plywood underneath where the faucets are, which meant the Waterdrop faucet wouldn't fit. We had to drill out some of the wood, but once that was done, it went smoothly. The water tastes so good, much better than other RO systems we've used. I read that sometimes the filters are hard to find as they're often on backorder, but I ordered some from Walmart online to ensure I have a year's worth of filters on hand. Very happy with this RO system!

Easy to install, but false advertising
First of all: installation and maintenance is very easy. Here in Surrey this filter gives me 15 TDS which is not perfect for aquarium. But the worst thing is that the TDS meter is a joke. I have my own TDS meter and it is in line with this build in for the most of the time, besides when filter needs to be replaced. Inbuilt TDs meter was showing 16 ppm, mine 300 - tap water is here arround 350! After exchanging the CF filter, AND flushing it was lower and lower TDS measured by my TDs meter, but the inbuilt was showing 15 all the time !!!! Moreover, I assume these filter change alarms are automatic - like programmed for a period of time .. :( I will buy a PROPER RO filter after moving to another house. This one is OK for drinking. Build quality 5/5, ease of use 5/5. Filtering 2/5. Overall 3/5. Not recommended for aquarium use.
