High content to fluff ratio
Most books are twice as long as they should be. This book mirrors the efficiency and minimalism of the "diet" it recommends, which as we learn, is really not a diet at all. It is a return to the ancestral practice of eating within a small time window rather than grazing. Excellent summary of the metabolic processes underlying weight loss and hormones regulating appetite, plus actionable strategies for transitioning with minimal hardship. This is the diet book Americans need to read to combat the obesity epidemic – before it's too late and we're all metabolically deranged past the point of restoring insulin sensitivity.

This book is great
I really enjoyed this book it is very informative and has taught me so much I have tried in the past to Omad but was kind of winging it. This book help me to understand it so much more. Thank you so much. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to lose weight and become healthier.

An Important Topic but Some Errors
This book addresses an important topic and, in general, the information contained may help people with obesity and type II diabetes who have been frustrated with many of the ineffective diets out there. In addition, the author does a nice job in explaining a number of physiological processes clearly. Unfortunately several errors in the content made me hesitant to assume the some of the other information provided was correct, if I was not already familiar with it. For example the author mentioned visceral fat in the thighs (?!) and said excess sodium intake is the primary cause of high blood pressure (not true). I agree with other reviewers that the book would have benefited from some editing and also think it would have benefited from a review by a medical professional familiar with the benefits of fasting on metabolism and health in order to avoid some of the glaring errors in content.
