Review: I really like this! - Shopping for a new ironing board took me a long time because I got so wrapped up in all the negative reviews for every ironing board I read about. My last ironing board was one that you just get a Target or somewhere, and it was fine for a few years but seem to get more rickety year after year until finally I barely bumped it and my iron crushed to the floor and broke. It was a really good iron so that annoyed me and I decided to get a new ironing board right away. After hours of research, literally hours, I finally decided on this one though I was worried because of people's videos and reviews. I do not know if they may have gotten a lemon and I got a really good one, but I am happy with mine. The ironing board I got came very well packed-- though the box was damaged the board was not. When I took it out I found that it is pretty sturdy. This is not like a coffee table, and you're not supposed to set your TV up on it but it should stay upright and stable while you are moving in iron around on your clothing, and it definitely does that. If you are ironing bigger items regularly like curtains or you piece quilts or something, you may want to get a different ironing board that is longer. This is a bit shorter than my old one, but for my use it's fine. I mostly iron shirts. Also I like that it has the spot for my iron to sit. My iron fits fine, honestly I'm not really sure how it's supposed to sit in there but when I set mine in, it seems secure and if I bump the ironing board and it rocks, which I would have to bump it pretty hard for it to do, I don't think my iron would fall out like what happened with my old ironing board that did not have a special iron resting spot. There is a thing to hold your cord up out of the way which honestly I only use the first day and haven't used again. There is a little rack you're supposed to be able to hang your clothes. I haven't really used that either because I have a large rack in my laundry room to do that. Last there's kind of a shelf underneath the ironing board. If my setup was different, I think it would be handy but I don't really need it... so I havent used that either. If you're looking for extra sturdiness it may help to put something a little heavier on that shelf. -- But my board doesn't rock at all. Since I have a laundry room I just leave the laundry board set up all the time unless it's in the way. So I have not used the door hanger either. The ironing board is super simple to fold up if you need to. I think even if you put this away after each use, you would not get annoyed to have to take it out and set it up. It's really easy. Also to adjust the height you just lift the top up or press the release and press the top down, so that is easy as well. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I don't think I really have any complaints. There are some features that I mentioned that I don't really need but it's okay that they are there. I'm very satisfied. ## Features - Wider surface for a crisper, faster press β€” The 15 x 57-inch board has a 47-inch usable ironing area, so you finish dress shirts, slacks, and bedsheets in fewer passes. Less repositioning, smoother glide, sharper creases on every garment. - Heat- and scorch-resistant 3-layer cover protects delicate fabrics β€” A fabric, foam, and felt pad withstands up to 280Β°C (536Β°F), shielding silks, wool, and linen from burns under high heat. Wire-mesh base lets steam through to dry clothes faster. - Wall-mount hanger reclaims closet space β€” Bracket included for vertical, space-saving storage in apartments and small homes. The fold-out garment rail keeps freshly pressed shirts and suit jackets wrinkle-free; lower tray stacks finished laundry. - Built for professionals, families, and small spaces β€” Built-in iron rest cradles a hot iron between strokes, cord holder lifts the cable aside, and anti-skid feet plant the board on hardwood, tile, or carpet. Works with standard household irons. - Full metal construction, height adjustable 30 to 36 inches β€” Powder-coated steel frame holds 60 lbs without bowing, with cross-axle stability and multi-step adjustment for seated or standing use. Folds flat; cover is removable and machine washable. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07QJVZDYQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #38,630 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #31 in Ironing Boards | | Brand | XABITAT | | Brand Name | XABITAT | | Color | Gray | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,906 Reviews | | Frame Material | Alloy Steel | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 57"L x 15"W x 36"H | | Item Highlight | Height adjustable 30" - 36", full-metal frame, scorch & heat-resistant cover, iron rest, anti-slip feet, Cord Holder | | Item Weight | 13 pounds | | Manufacturer | Xabitat | | Manufacturer Part Number | XAIB001 | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Model Number | XAIB001 | | Mounting Type | Floor Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Dimensions | 57"L x 15"W x 36"H | | UPC | 720441760041 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** XABITAT - **Color:** Gray - **Item Weight:** 13 pounds - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Product Dimensions:** 57"L x 15"W x 36"H ## Images ![Xabitat Ironing Board 57" x 15" Foldable with Wall Hanger - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61y-FrQm0TL.jpg) ![Xabitat Ironing Board 57" x 15" Foldable with Wall Hanger - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/713RT0gxSlL.jpg) ![Xabitat Ironing Board 57" x 15" Foldable with Wall Hanger - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61MiIFutjYL.jpg) ![Xabitat Ironing Board 57" x 15" Foldable with Wall Hanger - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91ywa0gFJSL.jpg) ![Xabitat Ironing Board 57" x 15" Foldable with Wall Hanger - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91UR-OGoAiL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is the folding rack removable?** A: It needs some effort but it is removable. **Q: Where can I get replacement for iron harness?** A: Hmmm I’ve no idea. I love the extra width - it helps a lot when ironing yards of fabric as I sometimes have to do. The stability is reassuring and I feel like it makes all my ironing easier, and at times even enjoyable! It was worth it to get a quality product. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/145540494-xabitat-ironing-board-57-x-15-foldable-with-wall-hanger](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/145540494-xabitat-ironing-board-57-x-15-foldable-with-wall-hanger) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
