I'm making an above ground concrete pool - first time. Would these inlets work for an above ground concrete pool?

Not sure. I used them for my in ground concrete pool. They work perfectly.

Will these work if the pipe is not threaded?

yes, they are not threaded and they tap in and fit very snug. They were very well

Can these be used for a concrete pool?

Yes. They fit my pool perfectly.

Do they need to be glued or do they hold with pressure?

No need to glue them. They do hold pretty good. One of the return closest to the filter had the most pressure and was afraid it would go loose but it didn’t.
