Works very well at monitoring fridge temperature!

I got this oven thermometer to test the temperature of a Brev**** toaster oven that was running hot, it was. To test there thermometer, I put it in my LG oven and it was spot on. I took it to a friends house who as a Kitchen Aide oven and it was spot on.

It’s a good thermometer I just wish the numbers were a little bigger.

Get readings from inside oven

Good quality product, but when you insert it into the oven, you can barely see the displayed temperature. The display gets darker even when you put it in a great position inside the range, and even when you have the oven lights on, you can barely see. I Even tried to use my cellphone lights against the oven door, and that did not help me to see the internal temperature; I had to open the oven a few times to check if everything was right.That Defeats the purpose of having this gadget.For those who have difficulties reading or wearing glasses, the challenge will be even worse. For that reason, I do not recommend that.

This must be an improvement over the previous same model because its dial did not discolour at 500 degrees F.I couldn't determine its accuracy.

I only gave this a 3 star as it took very long to be shipped. Had two delay notifications. Now that it has arrived, seems to work.
