TRUST IN THIS HOT SPOT PASTE - FANTASTIC
My Golden Retriever tends to get hot spots and they get really bad. I tried this paste after using several ‘hot spot’ sprays. Wow, what a miraculous result. It dried almost immediately and it completely stopped all the discomfort and itching. It finally got him out of the cone! I can see where a few dog owners are thrown by this product. It looks like a wet cement in the container and doesn’t look like a cream. It dries like cement, sort of, as it can be cleaned off. With the instantaneous RELIEF it provides, it’s a THUMBS UP for me and my dog. Just trust in the product - it works.

Too bad
Does spread very well on a dog. I think it must have stung when I put it on his head. He immediately tried to rub it off with his front leg.

Works well.
This product works, it's easy to apply, the size is good, it will last awhile. My dog doesn't mind me putting this on her.

Cat wound healed quickly
My cat is an overgroomer. I think she's just nervous nelly. I've taken her to the vet for this before and just got a huge bill and a temp solution. They prescribed pills and ointment. Have you ever tried giving your cat a pill? Not fun. What truly helps her is keeping her from over grooming herself while her overgroomed area heals but keeping her in a onesie or cone 24/7 is just not feasible. I know she doesn't have fleas or anything like that. She just will lick and lick until the hair is gone and the skin is red and sore and weepy. I decided to try this stuff out. I bought a bunch of over the counter things actually before getting this. I bought a hydrocortisone for cats in hopes that the itchiness would stop and she'd stop licking but it really didn't help. I got an antiseptic wash in hopes of cleaning it and keeping it clean would stop her from licking but it didn't. I got her probiotics and fish oil in hopes that I could address her issue internally but again that made zero difference. Finally, I got her a soft cone and this jar of coat defense. It has been about 4 days. The overgrooming wound is drying up, the hair is as starting to grow back, and she can't reach it to lick it. I'm impressed by this product. Definitely recommend it.
