It would be a left handed one if it was carried openly, but if it was carried discreetly, it works as a right-handed one. There are no holes for the bolts to switch sides for the clip attachment. It was rather confusing, but since I figured out how it most likely is intended as what I ordered, I revised my review and gave back some stars. It is good to know before buying one. After my initial 1 star review the source reached out to me offering to resolve any issue. I updated them on misconception of the product.
