Simple, inexpensive, successful upgrade to older home
Inexpensive and accurate - significant improvement to our 1960s house original gold twist/knob style mercury thermostats. These are compatible with our oil baseboard heaters and from the speed with which my husband installed them, they were a quick and easy upgrade. They look nice without being over the top “bougie” and have served us well. Would recommend!

Easy install
We have this for our gas fireplace. It makes it so much easier to just set the thermostat and let it turn on and off by itself. We no longer have to get up to turn the stove on. And it keeps the room at a constant temperature. It was very easy to install

Very good product
I've used this product for many years. (we use about 100 a year) It was rebranded with one of my suppliers' names. When they stopped carrying it, I was scrambling for a new supply. This has worked out great.

Much better heat control in my Lance camper
Replaced the stock heat only control in my Lance 805Sq camper. The stock unit would only go down to 55 degrees F so it got to hot in my bed. The new one goes down to 45 degrees FWorks much more comfortable in a cab over camper. Easy 2 wire connections

Works Well with Floor Furnace
I bought this to replace a Honeywell thermostat on my floor furnace. The Honeywell never worked very well and died after only a couple of years service. While the Lux thermostat is advertised for 24V systems, buried down in the description it says something like "compatible with millivolt systems", which is what I needed. It was easy to install, almost trivial. It seems well made, with large, easy to read numbers, and only one switch, on/off, and up/down buttons for temperature.Removing the cover to replace the batteries (2 AA) is easy because it was designed with a tab that pushes in to release the bottom of the cover plate. This is so much better than any of the other thermostats I've used over the years. It took about 15 minutes to install and the furnace clicked on immediately. Only time will tell if it lasts, but my initial experience is very positive and it is a joy to use compared to all the prior thermostats.

Trailer Thermostat Upgrade
I have a separate Atwood Propane Heater and a Separate Coleman Roof Top AC that has it's Controls & thermostat mounted directly on it. This is for controlling the Atwood Propane Heater only! If you have a combination HEAT/AC Thermostat that controls both in your RV look for something else, if you need a heat only model, like I did, get this one!Installed in a 2001 R-Vision Trail-Lite Trailer to replace my old analog spring based thermostat that was controlling the Atwood propane heater only. The installation was super easy, only two wires; Red & White hookup. The only tool you need is a #1 Phillips Screwdriver, maybe a wire striper if the wires aren't already bare on the ends. Two screws to mount the base, two screw based terminals to put the wire in. Place the wire between the plastic guard and copper then tighten the screw. I mounted on RV paneling so no drill was need for pilot holes, it didn't match the old mounting holes but it was a little bigger than the old one so it hid the them nicely.I wanted this specific one because I don't have a fan only mode because RV propane heat only systems are either on or off heat so I didn't want the switch for the fan (on-auto). There is still a dummy switch on this one, but it's not labeled on the front and it's position doesn't affect anything, nor can it confuse anyone else who is operating this device in my RV. Two AA batteries keep this going, I will just keep a "spare" set in my RV in case they go dead, so I won't be left in the cold; instructions say replace yearly, but I have a funny feeling since it will just be used when I'm using the RV they will last quite a bit longer. I set the temp limit to 78, which would be cooking in a RV! But you can set it to whatever you want, I just didn't want some kid to bump up my temp to 90 because they think the more they press the up button the faster it will heat up.Operation is SUPER simple, one switch for On/Off and a UP/DOWN switch to set your temperature. It lights up nicely when you press the buttons so you can see it. It then displays the current temperature.I haven't really tried it yet, just tested it out in the driveway, first camp trip is Memorial day 2014 coming up which I will use this for 5 days. Looking forward to trying it out. I will update if there are any problems or if it runs great.
