LED Light Strip White 6000K Double Row 600LEDs SMD5050 IP67 Outdoor

Bought these to replace the light strips under our canopy and we did NOT expect it to light our entire yard! I couldn't be happier with this item. We've had them up for a couple months now and use them nightly. Still holding up, no duds and hasn't dimmed a bit. We've had some hard rain and it hasn't affected its function. The install was a bit tricky due to where we placed them, which isn't the manufacturer's fault. Well worth the price, and if I'm ever able to upgrade my RV, I'll be back for another set!

These are really awesome LED lights, really bright. Problem is that it does not come with a transformer, and you have to purchase that separately. There are also no 15 mm connectors available. Even if you reach out to the company that is selling them on Amazon, they cannot help you. You have no way of taking a corner or splicing different places. If you are not skilled at soldering the connectors, this is not a product for you. The connectors that are listed with it are not compatible. If I had known that prior to buying them I would not of bought them for use under my kitchen cabinets. But once I have cut them and work with them, I did not feel comfortable returning them. Now that I have them installed and I have soldered the connectors, they work pretty nice. They are also not self-adhesive so you have to purchase clips to install them under your cabinetry or wherever you’re installing them.

So I don't know if it's listed anywhere but these pull a fair bit of current. I hooked it up to a 5amp power supply set right to 12v. Within 5 minutes the power supply had blown up. Was rather amusing and impressive. I have it on a 50amp power supply now and the unit is not even getting warm so it is most likely overkill by quite a bit. Just wanted to point out that the current demands of your chosen power supply may be a good bit higher than expected. The lights are nice and bright and are working very well running 24/7 in a mini greenhouse set up.

I purchased two sided tape by 3M to stick the LED light strip to the upper walls of my RV Trailer "Bear Cave" forward storage compartment. The trailer came stock with a single incandescent light fixture which did not cast enough light. There was only one light for the whole storage compartment, and only at one end. I was able to directly wire the new LED light strip into the existing light fixture and thereby use its power switch. The 3M two sided tape would not stick to the surface of the LED light strip. So my wife suggested trying using hot glue. (I married a really smart and creative woman!) My son helped with the installation which made things go much easier. After a few burnt fingers (from the hot glue) we the LED strips in place on both sides of the Bear Cave. This turned out really well so far. The LED's are really bright. Time will tell if our hot glue will hold. I'll update if there is any change. Very happy with the results right now.

Still working good for truck bed lights after over 2 years. About to order more to put in the roof of my SXS. I read other reviews the adhesive isn’t good so I also purchased 3M double sided adhesive that cost more than the lights and used.

I rated these a '5' because I'm familiar with installation of ribbon lights as I've had them for 10 years when they were only available from Chinese web sites. If you're not familiar with this type of lighting ribbon, not that 1. 3-M double=sided tape does not stick to the silicone waterproof "cover" of these light ribbons, (construction adhesive like "Liquid Nails" brand in the U.S. works fine but you must hold in place with duct tape for 30 mins while this type of adhesive dries) and 2. As with all ribbon lighting (IMHO), you need to use a soldering iron to make reliable problem-free connections unless you connect the whole 16' roll to the single output of a power supply and don't want to cut it. The "push-on" connectors are more trouble than they're worth and, in my experience, have never provided a reliable long-term connection.

I put these on the underside of my opaque aquarium lid so that way my plants could have more light than was being given by the light fixture that was part of the lid originally. They worked great and were pretty easy to install. I was impressed by how bright they were.......that is until they stopped working. They lasted me maybe 2 weeks before I started having issues. Now they're just completely out, 3 weeks later. I went ahead and just ordered a clear glass aquarium lid and a hygger light which is what I should've done in the first place.
