Would these be suitable for attaching posts to decking for putting a sail shade up over it?

These posts are very strong. Strong enough to hold our very large and heavy Pergola. Not sure if they would be suitable to hold very heavy Sails especially when the wind takes them

What size bolts do you recommend M8 or M10?

Go for M8. The threads of the M8 bolts are essentially M10 in total diameter so the M8s fit the holes well. Just installed these the other week with M8 masonry bolts. Perfect for the job and really sturdy!

Hi, I used M8x80 thunderbolts, one in each corner. With these bolts you only need to drill an 8mm hole, easy enough to do. Worked really well. Hope this helps.

Could i use these on a block paved driveway for 1 fence panel and gate?
