## Description

The Stradic is already a well known and highly appreciated spinning reel which is used by hundred of thousands anglers, all over the world. Already for years and years, all these anglers have the same experience about the Stradic. It is strong and reliable, a reel which will never let them down. The new Stradic FL, the successor to the FK, will of course carry the same iqualities of strength and reliability. However, there are some new exciting features on the FL: 1. Rotation Smoothness (MicroModule II, Silent Drive) 2. Durability (Increased Hagane Gear strength, X Protect) 3. Casting Performance (Long stroke spool). This proposition makes the Stradic FL the ideal all round spinning reel. It can be used for any type of freshwater fishing. And it is very suitable for ways of fishing where reliability and strength are important, for example river fishing, big fish, bigger lures. At the same time this reel is an ideal choice for saltwater inshore fishing. Because the versatile range with many sizes and gear ratios, there will be always a suitable Stradic for every angler.

## Features

- HaganeBody - The HAGANE Body is a metal reel body with high rigidity. The body stiffness and impact resistance virtually eliminates body flexing. The result transforms the angler's actions directly into cranking power. It's efficiency through strength.
- X-Ship - provides improved gear durability. By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with bearings, the pinion gear maintains precise alignment with the drive gear. This means the gears will stay in the same position under the heaviest loads. The added benefit is that friction between the spool shaft and gear are eliminated. This will enhance the casting performance of the reel with lighter lures, and allow for longer casts.
- SA-RB - These bearings have been through the same process as our A-RB bearings, but feature shields on both sides of the bearings that reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the bearing's rotation.
- CrossCarbonDrag - This drag material provides a wider range of drag settings, along with the smoothest Shimano drag performance ever.
- G-FreeBody - technology has been developed to shift the reel's center of gravity closer to the rod. By moving the center of gravity closer to the angler's hand position, the G Free Body helps to reduce fatigue and enhance casting comfort.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What’s the best reel size for a 7f medium fast action rod?**
A: a 3000 size reel, with 10# or 15# braided line.

**Q: What's the max line weight for the Stradic 1000**
A: there's no max. You could put 100lb braid if you wanted, you just wouldn't get that much line. Typically if you are using 1000 size, most would use 8-12lb braid. The max drag is around 10lbs...

**Q: Does this reel have the long stroke spool ?**
A: yes

**Q: Is the 3000 good enough for inshore fishing for Reds up to 30 inches?**
A: I’m sorry but I would have guided you a couple sizes up. These 3000 must be huge? I’m comparing it to all PENN 3000. Those are to small, much to small for drums.
