Best $17.25 I've spent in a long time. Really easy to make my own screen for a window in our home that never had one. Companies wanted $80 plus shipping. Others said they could not make it. Thought, what do I have to lose? I measured several times before cutting. Used a hacksaw and filed down the sharp cut ends. I added small white duct tape tabs attached on the back side so can easily remove the screen. Highly recommend. Does not come with screen but does come with the black spline to hold in the screen material. I also lucked out as I had one last piece of screen that was barely just the right size. Excellent product and saved me money.

This was exactly what we needed. Easy to assemble and much more sturdy than frames that have been purchased in the past. Easy to cut to size, if necessary. The frame looks like it should. Its a screen frame. I ordered black, and it is as I hoped and expected it to be. Looks fine where it went.

This screen frame not only works amazingly but is built very sturdily, I'll update this post if I find out otherwise, but I wanted to give a fair warning, while this product is neither advertised nor states that it includes lift tabs, and tension springs, it is also not very well built for them. I built this imitating my last window screen and I noticed the lift tabs and tension springs weren't included which was fine since I had the ones from the last screen, but upon trying to install them I noticed the tension springs in particular did not fit with the corner connectors and I had to carve a bit of them out to get it to fit, though I must say in the end they did work through and they were put up very well. Edit: Bought a second pair and they worked just as great, I didn't mention before but you need quite a good hacksaw to cut these since they are a good durable aluminum, I hadn't noted since I had used a power miter saw previously which works even better, they seemed to have raised prices from 13 to 20 so I'm unsure if they're as good a product as the alternatives that include additional tension springs or pull tabs, but from what i have now they work well and are durable.

Works great! i used them to make a no see um screen for my window fan. was super easy! does not include tool to push in but can use finder if need super easy!

keep in mind product does not come with the screen or installation tool. That said, i found cutting it a tad annoying but expected for metal. Didn't have an issue fitting the right angle connectors in place nor installing the screen. The instructions provided helped in installing the entire thing though a video could help if you're unsure. Whatever you measure you'll have to subtract from the length of the 2 connectors before cutting to avoid multiple cuts. I had to cut a fair amount of since i only needed 35" at the longest edge.

The windows in our house were missing a couple of screens at the time of purchase. This kit made making my own custom replacements very easy. Instructions were clear, but I somehow still managed to mess up the measurements. Luckily the frames were cut larger than the size of the window so it was just a matter of trimming off a little bit. Highly recommend not installing screen material until you dry-fit the frame first to make sure all is right. I used a bench top saw box to cut the pieces, using a manual fine toothed saw. The frame was easy to cut and only took a minute or so per section. This frame kit seems very durable and has held up well so far over the past several months.

Doesn’t have anything to help it stay in the window. Spend money on a different product. Had to cut holes in my screen to add paper clips to clip to the window to help it stay in.

These alloy frame sets form a very rigid structure to mount various types of mesh on securely. They don't have to be just used for insect screens, they can be used for any type of screening you may require. In my case it is used inside a blasting cabinet to protect the viewing window from being etched and obscure. Just use your own imagination as to how you want to use it. This frame was good value for money in comparison to other suppliers and promptly delivered.

I was looking for a screen for my laundry room, and none could be found. I decided to make my own. After cutting it to size, I painted the frame black to match the trim of the window. The only drawback was trying to find the mosquito mesh. The local hardware store came through for me.
