Clinique’s Touch Base is the best thing since sliced bread! It’s beautiful, goes on silky with a slight hint of a shimmer. It’s great used alone under eyeshadow to eliminate creases! Poof! You can use it alone but when powder shadow is used on top it allows the colors to bloom! Goes on easy, dries quickly, and brightens your shadow game All. Day. Long! I have used other shadow bases that dried out my skin but not Touch Base! You’re Going to Love Your Eyes!

This product is very different from past eye shadow primers in the past and now that I understand how to apply it, I have grown to love it. It is very dense and dry to the touch. Just a light swipe of the fingertip is all you need. Pat on to eyelid lightly--do not rub. It is a good idea to keep the protective paper on the product when you close the lid. One customer complained it dried out. This is a great product and it definitely keeps my powder eyes hadow in place.

Bought wrong color

Bought this in canvas and canvas light. Used canvas on eyelid and canvas light, which has a slight sparkle, above the crease. Canvas has just enough color to not look overly made up.

It does a good job around my eyes taking away discoloration on my skin. Does last all day . I do think it’s a little pricey for amount you get.

Was not sure what to expect. But I’m pleasantly impressed. I like how smooth it feels and truly make eyes look refresh. Love it!!!

I am a makeup junkie and have tried numerous eyeshadow primers...and none of them hold my eyeshadow. Always creases in a few hours...EXCEPT this one. It is the best ever. My eyeshadow lasts all day and into the evening. No creasing. Very soft and easy to apply. Highly recommend. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

This is an excellent eye shadow primer if you use it as directed. It has to set a few minutes before applying your powdered shadow. This is not a concealer but creates a smooth even canvas for shadow. A bit of patience goes a long way! Most users who complained obviously were not aware of application method. One note..the sticky product protector needs to be redesigned..it’s a pain and don’t throw it away as it keeps it from drying out. Also don’t lay it down on anything like a Kleenex as it sticks to it! 🙄 Step What to Do Prep Cleanse eyelids and gently moisturize, wait for it to set or you will get creasing with the product and shadow Apply Use ring finger; lightly blend from lash line (not on it but slightly above) upward. Tip: Use a small amount and gently tap on the lid. Let set a minute or two Use Alone or under shadow as a primer Blend Press, don’t drag; use minimal product Store Close compact to preserve creaminess Remove Use gentle eye makeup remover
