Perfect for paella. The dish turned out delicious without getting soggy. 1 and a half cup (raw) was enough to feed my family of 5 and all are big eaters. Absorbs flavor well and is delicious.

First time making paella at home. The rice was perfect; the paella came out excellent!

I loved that the rice was packaged in a tightly woven cloth bag with stitching across the top that could be easily unraveled to open the bag. That cloth bag was inside a sealed plastic bag for added insurance. I made a relatively simple paella dish for the first time and it was exactly the right kind of rice to use. Though this type of rice is rather pricey, most ordinary rices will not produce the same results. Will try other more sophisticated recipes with this rice in the future.

I have been cooking professionally for 27 years but I really have never learned how to make paella. My first 3 tries have come out delicious. The first was pretty good, but the second two were outstanding. I have already purchased this rice a second time. I'm looking forward to having several people over to show off!!
